Okay I'm not exactly sure what these people are called, that why I need your help. The place where my husband works, the owner and supervisors are dirty. They don't follow code unless they have osha or some other government agency people there to check it out. They leave normal employees, some who are not fully trained running saws and other machinery without supervisors present while they have meetings, or the supervisors leave telling the workers who are not fully trained they cannot leave until their shipment is ready to be sent out. Which is illegal. A supervisor must be present if any machinery is to be run. My question is, where do I call or a website I can go to, to get an undercover government person to work there for a week to experience this? It has be be undercover because they always act like they are fixing things when the agencies come, and they make sure they go by the laws then. Osha is already on them because their equipment is so outdated, and accidents could happen at any time. I'm just scared my husband is going to get hurt because he's running a million year old machine that breaks down quite often without a supervisor present. And he wants something done about it. Any ideas?

OSHA probably has a website. I think I would try to notify them in some way. You will need to explain the problems to them just like you did here. They could probably make an unscheduled visit (surprise) to the work site and see these things happening.

I am not sure about the organizations that deal with such problems in your country. Here we have a bureau that protects all the workers and employees. You can file a complaint to a similar organization in your country and perhaps this organization will send someone to collect evidence and turn the case to police. The violations you told us about are quite serious and I am sure that this organization would take this case seriously.
