PTCs and Artist Commissions

Hi all, eager, lazy, yet willing girl at 17 trying to make my summer not only fun, but constructive. So... Here starts my little ambitions of making a bit of money for college and various other uses, but in your opinion, which holds a better chance at getting this said money? Pay to click sites or Art commissions? Well, I've done a bit of research for each. PTCs, well... you got your legit, and you got your scams, basically. Either way, it's a slow earning process, takes months to actually see real process, right? It's basically a gamble like stocks except you're making your own money to sink and crash with as opposed to just fueling it with your own to start with. Then for art commissions, you're basically opening up shop, asking others what in specific would they like you to draw (in this case, you're setting up rules for what to draw, which is good for those like me that have standards for art) and set up your own prices for each. The only con for this is inexperience in art aaaand rather the public comes to you or not. At least, this I learned from friends. I'm trying both either way but... it can't hurt for an unsure kid like me to ask those with experience in this. This might be something I'm doing while in school (after homework, like my mom says...) but only if I'm not too busy with studies as a senior. So, tell me what you know guys!~
