Hey! Is there any prize awarded to a reader?

We all are familiar with the award sensations in the field of writing. There are numerous awards for writers (novelists,poets,essayists,scriptwriter, sort story writers,etc.)which help them become famous and their works get better recognition and sale.Not only the writers are excited about the awards but the passionate readers also get excited to know the winner of a particular literary prize.These all things have their own importance in the field of literature.But what I want to know is the fact that is there any award which is given to a reader? I want to know mylloters feel about this idea of mine?

No I haven't heard about any such awards which are given to readers.Ya the idea is not bad rather is is very exciting and unique in itself.I feel it surely will bring new dimensions to reading.There are a lot of awards in every field and are given to different communities of people,then why not for readers also. The processing of award should have some creative element which feel the readers with enthusiasm.It is not necessary that the award should have a big prize money but it should have some exciting thing like a collection of books by famous writers.It should also include some kind engaging and exciting reading competitions.What are your ideas about the prize if there is one.
