Oh yes, it has been amazing how the gas price is going up. I don't drive my car much these days. I used to drive to work before, but now I have change to public transport. That's much more economical these days. It takes a bit mote time getting to work, but it is still worth it.

Here in Corpus Christi Texas, the gas prices are 3.39 dollars per gallon. It has been significantly lower than it was 2 months ago, but I'm still not pleased with the price. I remember when gas used to be less than a dollar per gallon! Those days were clearly the best! We usually wouldn't have to worry about gas prices then, but now, gas prices seem to be one of the biggest things we worry about it in life.

$3.94 a gallon. I am not about to put the amount it took to fill up my Eco. My family does Karaoke on Saturday nights at a local restaurant. We usually try to throw in some older country songs about small towns, and we pulled up a video of "Small Town Saturday Night" by Hal Ketchum and it gets to the line Everybody's broke, Bobby's got a buck to put a dollars worth of gas in his pickup truck This sets our eleven year old into instant laughter and he looks at my husband and he's like "Geez Dad they can get all the way to the stop-sign right there with that" The stop sign he was referring to is about 300 feet from our back door. Gas isn't going to get cheaper I am afraid. It is just going to keep going up and sadly we will have to keep paying for it, because it's a need. It's sad though too so many stores get drive-offs at the pumps everyday and I see it getting worse. That money comes out of the pockets usually of those working at the time and a lot of convenience store workers around here are single moms and that's what's sad.
