Hello guys and girls This is a little projekt of mine . Just for the case that in the near future we have no more oil to power the society we life in. The plan is to build an e-book with as much usefull information as possible . For example how to plant crops or how tu build an energie source with copper or how to filter water . It will get large and hopefully printable . Every input to this is appreciated

You'll probably need to be a bit more specific about what kind of survival you mean and with what kind of resources. There are already survival guides available, from wilderness to general (the SAS one is excellent, I've read it). There are even guides to surviving zombie attacks, alien invasions and other such silliness. There's always room for another good guide, of course, but being more specific makes it easier to market.

Maybe guide is the wrong description . I have in mind a collection of usefull information written in an understanble way . There is no way to predict what ressources there will be left to use . Lets take the example of water filtering . In this book it would like to have some intructions how to build a working filter with the use diffrent methods so the reader can adapet to the ressources he has and be able to look for what is missing . Another thing would be taking care of injuries or sickness . Alltogether it should become an encycolpedia of knowledge Could you give me some links to the guides you are talking about ?

When the oil runs out, I will be in trouble because I have no idea how to get a horse moving. I hate vehicles without a clutch!

I think it would be a good idea actually to gather useful information, however, i think it would be harder than that. Useful information like how to guide on the stars or stuff like that can be found on wikipedia, how to filter water is to easy to find. Or you can just go to the closest waterfall, where the water is pretty clean. I think your idea is perfect, but how should you gather all information on (for example) berries and food gathering in the forest? I mean, I once found a book about berries and flowers to eat, it was pretty thick. So good idea, but more unique information would be a good idea to have! good luck with your work!
