Well, ahh, with the dawn of the new era, the no of bloggers has considerably increased, but my question is weather there are people who take blogging as a serious business.Personally i think only retired people use blogging as a serious hobby. But still i see friends around me blogging as a full time job.Now i want opinions, Is blogging profitable and if so how can i raise the income, and most of all is it a good job to do???.

Blogs all have three things in common - you, your mum and the cat! They are the only potential visitors your blog will ever have! And two of those will only visit once! That is the reality of many blogs and web sites. There are simply too many of them. Can you visit a billion web sites in your entire life? Can you even imagine knowing where to start! You have to be really serious, or certifiably insane, to try making a business out of blogging. Full time job? Well perhaps half a dozen people in the entire world have a genuine full time blogging job. Everyone else is a wannabe. Great hobby - yes! But that is all it will be for the vast majority of people.

No. There's no power of social networking. You would be just one unknown person in many millions of equally unknown persons.
