I am trying to have my way to the modeling industry. So i joined photo shoots. A photographer friend of mine asked me to pose for him. The concept was seven deadly sins. Wherein I will be topless but my breasts will be covered by my hand and the seven deadly sins will be written on my body with red paint. Plus I will have wings. I liked the photo, it was very artistic. But when I showed it to my parents. They did not like it and asked me to erase it from my Facebook account. So I obeyed them. What about you guys? What do you think of nude photos?

You have to have common sense when posing and make sure that you are not taken advantage of. Going into the modeling business you have to be more open minded and free spirited. I on the other hand have to be careful with my job. Posting risque photos on a public site like facebook, can lead to embarassment for other people. While to you it is a beautiful picture and artistically done, to your parents it is their daughter wearing too little clothing. Just be respectful of others when you choose what to post.

I think it sounds like an artistic shot, and if you have the confidence then you should go for it! However, I can also see why your parents wouldn't like it - would you like seeing a photo of your dad that way?! And I wouldn't recommend having them on facebook either - it's important to remember that all sorts of people can see those photos and do whatever they want with them. Not to mention that if you ever decide you don't want to model, future employers will be able to see those photos and may decide not to hire you. My suggestion would be, if you need facebook to make yourself known, then have it under a separate name, like a nickname instead of your real one, and keep the two separate. Regarding your parents, I'm sure they will get over it, they're just concerned about your photo being visible to the whole world. They're just trying to look out for you so don't be too mad at them.
