GHOSTS - are they real?

I talked to a friend last time about ghosts. She frantically stated that she doesn't believe in it. I teased her by saying that what if a white lady appeared under your bed this night? She just simply ignored me and laughed. Our topic landed in ghosts when I shared the movie "Insidious", I was so hooked with the different apparitions I see there. I know there are different forms of ghost for every country: some may have their sadako; others may have their spirit; while, some may have vampires. Whatever you call it: apparitions, dead, spirit, evil, and etc. MyLotters, do you believe ghosts exist? If yes, what made you to believe then? Encounters? Stories? or just its your belief? I don't know but I'm still undecided.

Hey I believe there are ghost. Me and my sister already saw one. It happened 6 yrs ago when we went out in front of our house because we have to fetch our mother. It's around 9 pm and my sister accidentally saw a floating white "translucent" object above our roof. She quickly took my attention and we both stared at the object for a few seconds. It's moving but in a very slow pace. The object has irregular shape. It is like an apparition of a child covered with white blanket. If you look at it carefully, the blanket covering that "ghost" is moving, like it's affected by the wind. Like I said it's translucent and we confirmed if it's just a light but it's not. After a few seconds of staring, we nervously entered our house and we try to forget about it because we can't sleep due to fear.

That was so nerve-wrecking spyke. You're too brave not to collapse or even shout at the sight you had seen. I think there are some people who I may say blessed or curse to have the ability to feel those things that are supposed to be unseen. I had an experienced too and almost made to face the darkness. I just prayed to God to help me carry myself up after that incident.

I believe there's a ghost. When I was young and until now that I'm old already I can still hear ghost stories. I encountered a "white lady" last two years ago, I remember it was November first. I saw it in front of me. I was walking when I saw a white figure coming to my direction. I can't see anything from the white figure that I saw. I didn't even see her face that her figure is human-like figure. I shouted because I was really afraid but I didn't hear my own voice. That's when I decided to run. I didn't know if I really saw a white lady or it was just an imagination, or maybe the teenagers had made fun of me because I saw that there were teenagers who were having a "haloween's party".

That's so scary, you're so brave to face darkness after that incident. I don't know why but things like this are unsustainable. There's something that can't be easily explained. But, we don't know those teenagers were quite so playful that they made a fun out of you. Thanks for the time. ^_^

My boyfriend at that time which happens to be my husband now, went to the haloween party to see if the teenagers really made fun of me. But the teenagers denied about it,haha. I really don't know it it's really true or not.

i guess i sort of do. I don't really believe in them, but there are so many reports about ghosts and sightings you cant really ignore them all. you can't fake every ghost report. There are many services that deal with apparitions or ghosts and even shows are made about em. Some people believe in them strongly while others dont. i've never encountered a ghost before, and i wouldn't want to. They make good scare stories though.

Ghosts are really mysterious. Some see them while others do not. Some believe them and some prefer to shrug a shoulder. Whatever it is, one thing is for sure, ghosts are made to bring our fear out of us.

Yes I do believe with ghost, even I never see it straightly. Sometimes, I want to see them with my own eyes. I only ever feel their resistants in my side, when suddenly all my hair in all my body get wave up.I never feel like that before. Also, I ever hear a voice of lough but there are no one in there.

Devilova, I had some encounters like you have. I don't want to associate it with any paranormal activity or worst with ghosts. Whatever it is, a ghost or not, I hope it will not spend it time to play around me. That's quite scary.

I like to entertain the idea of ghosts. I also like the ghost buster type shows but I'm not sure I really believe in ghosts. I've wanted my mom and dad to come to me as a ghost but it never happened. I have hoped to experience ghosts but never have. Soooo I don't really believe they exist.

Ghost buster are really tough guys. I hate to imagine the idea of facing ghosts and capturing them in the long run. I think it's better to believe the old cliche "To see is to believe".

I guess you can say I believe in ghost. I'm afraid of total darkness and I don't know why. Ghost, no matter what you call them, are a big part of any culture and since I believe in a God,logic equates that I believe in ghosts.

You're right wazabe, every culture has its varied versions of their own ghosts. No matter what, we should be courageous enough to face our fear. I am also afraid of vast darkness but I am trying to conquer it by going to dark places while I pray to God. I don't want to be afraid anymore of this stuff. I want to be bold and brave so that there will be no Ghosts in my world.

Yes, I do believe in ghosts. I do believe that they are real, and actually do exist. It's something that I've believed in for a while. I've had experiences that I could explain, which did seem as though they were experiences with ghosts.

Anything is really possible to be honest with you. Out of all of the things in this world that have been proven that were thought impossible, it would be rather difficult to dismiss something completely off hand. Ghosts is one of those things where there are a lot of stories out there. Some of them have been proven to be hoaxes granted or people on who knows what, hallucinating. However, not all of them will be false. I'm not sure if I would believe them all out however. Still there is a chance that they might be out there somewhere. There are just too many stories about ghosts that have popped up here and there over the years. Some of them just make you think in many ways to say the very least. There are just a number of ghost stories, some of them that bring shivers to my spine for sure. Still not a believer fully but not willing to completely dismiss them.

No, I don believe in ghosts. If you dont mistake me, I would say I dont believe in God and also ghost but I do some research on that. If that is the case, somebody would have used the ghosts to control the world, as you see in movies. There is some natural power surrounding us but that is not god or ghost... It is the waves that leads our life

Well, its better that you don't believe in them so that you'll not have any fear at hand. Horror movies are just so powerful, they control the perceptions of the moviegoers. Thanks for the response. Happy myLotting ^_^
