I live in the US and do have a lot of reality shows on TV, though they make for entertainment and some of them I like to follow on TV. I don't think I would want to try out for any of them, as I can't see my life displayed on TV for the world to see. Have you tried?

Yes that is true, but I am not looking to be famous and maybe that is why I don't plan on signing up to any. lol But yes if anyone is looking to be rich and famous and gets the opportunity, I would say go for it and have fun while at it.

Hi....by coming in front of the camera you can get really famous and rich. You'll be amazed by a story i'll tell. There lived a guy in my city. He just went for the auditions for some singing reality show, that idol one. He came in top 5 and today he's doing movies and really rich. It has many benefits being friendly with the camera! I haven't tried for any reality show till today but really want to go in fear factor. You can call it 'life with tobasco'

I live in one of the Third-world-nation, geographically situated in East Africa the host country for wild-beast migration- Kenya. Us being in the growing region, we do not experience more of this shows, and mostly people are chosen from 'unknown' locations because not every one is given a chance to show the secret talent within one's physical body. But if I'm given a chance to perform in a reality show, then I will....'dance to da beat'

Nice to hear from you! If you're good in dancing then reality shows based on dance do not choose randomly but they have auditions. If you're good, you have a really great chance. Do they have any dance reality shows there? If you have such a show, maybe you need to go to some big city there for auditions. If you're not selected, life back to where it was, if selected, you've got it! Give it a try...

They only go to big cities. Moreover, you can always check onlile by searching by entering the show's name and current year. If they're out on auditions, you'll know. You can try or else you wait.

no i do not have stage *fright*. All through highschool i was in the drama and choir club so i performed in front a large audience many many times and in front of the camera.I just don't like that my business would be on nation television so that everyone could see it.and good for you on the singing in front of the institute thing(:

Ya....that is one thing. But you'd become famous and earn easy cash and then people wouldn't remember any of those embarrassing moments you had. Do you have stage fear. Having stage fear is not good. I removed it last year when i performed a song in front of the whole institute and many people respect me for that!

First of all congrats for ur achievment.that is a great achievment for a bigginer who have never gone on stage.keep it up.i have seen tht indian idol.and i know that guy meiyon chaing.and he has also been anchor in a show perhaps indian idol nxt season after that.and perhas last season of india,s got challange.but my friend in this industry many thing matter.meiyong chaing is not just talented but also gud looking.and in indain idol he has been favourate of 1 judge.i have seen roadies.and i like it but as i think in that show they people just choose more arugent and much cheap person.if you have seen there was a girl in roadies who was later came in a show IS JUNGLE SE MUJHE BACHAO.these shows just use other to make their show popular.and yes these show has decreas the value of love and friendship.yes talented and nice persons are every where.i like just 1 show which i like to participate in and that is FEAR FACTOR(khatron ke khiladi).but that is just for celebraty.i want participate in a fully pure and out or vulgerness and entertaining.and money is not just in this industry friend.

Hi. I'm anant also from India. Being in front of the camera an not only get you famous but also easy way to a lot of cash. You remember a guy in indian idol - Meiyang Chang. He came till the top five. He's doing movies today. You must have seen him in badmaash company. You may have talents but you do need a platform. Reality shows are the best platform to get famous. Talking of shyness, i was very shy an year ago. I didn't want people's attention. Never go on the stage for any thing, not even volunteering. Last year, i gave a stage performance in my institute. It didn't go that well. But when people came to know that it was the first time i came on the stage, people respected me. I've bumped into you many times in many discussions. Seeing to the way you talk, you seem to fit awesomely in roadies. You can try that. Its an awesome show and many people want to be a part of it. Good luck.

I never tried to go in any reality show. Where I live, every year tons of people try to go on Big Brother, here this show already had 11 seasons. I really don't see myself on TV and I'm too shy for these things, also I thing that I don't have any chance of winning these type of show! :) If one day I had to try to go in any reality show, I would probably would try the Top Chef! Is the best reality in my opinion!

Ok. So, you do nice cooking. I also know some stuff like baking a cake, noodles, pasta, choco balls, chocolate biscuits etc. I'm into all those vegetarian stuff. Don't be shy from the camera. Its the way to fame and money. It'll give you the platform to be known people in the country. I was also shy. But i removed it an year ago. I performed on stage in front of the whole institute. My performance didn't go well. But when people came to know that it was the first time i was on stage, people respected me. And that was the end of my shyness. Good luck to you. Happy cooking!

I'm in the States too and I've considered trying out for a few. American Idol, but my friend asked me if I won would that really be what I wanted to do with the rest of my life and I couldn't say 100% that it was so I skipped that. MTV used to have a show on a long time ago called Fear and I would have loved to have gotten on that. It was six people stayed somewhere haunted for twelve hours (I think, 6pm to 6am, maybe longer). You could leave any time you wanted but if you left you lost your share of the money. Whoever was left in the morning split $30,000 ($5000 each if everyone stuck it out). I'd be guaranteed $5000...I could handle being scared for 12 hours for that kind of money.

For american idol, you'd need a voice. You can try. Ask other people if they like your voice. In our country, a similar contest is held. My mom went to a beauty parlour. The owner's son just went there cuz he was in that city where the auditions were being held. He came 5 position! It was amazing cheering for him! Now, he's doing movies! Fear sounds awesome. I can bear anything until it comes to eating animals which they serve in many reality shows. Easy 5k if they select you!
