Pen drives become illegal!!!

What would happen if all the pen drives disappear? Can you imagine life without pen drives? Using them since such a long time, and so comfortable with them, it'd be really hard to turn to floppy disks! Which cannot store a song. or compact disks(cd)! which you have to burn each time to transfer data onto it. Not to mention, the portable hard drives have also vanished with the pen drives. How would you transfer your data? You must be having better ways, i know!

No I can't and I won't agree with such to happen. People who don't own laptops need these things badly whether in work or at school. I myself have one and I'm still saving to buy one with a larger memory. .

Well I might utilize SD cards at mobile phones if this would happen. :(

I know nobody would like this to happen! I think there are more pen drive owners than computer owners but i just wanted to know what you'd do if that happens. What's the second option in the line?

may be i can not suggest a better replacement of pen drives. But i can imagine that breaking the law will give up more joy when the pen drives become illegal. Is not it ?

Oops! Seems i forgot to change the subject, after changing the body of the discussion lol nice to hear from you. yeah! Breaking the law would be one of the most inspiring and easiest way out. But some of our mylot friends will surely tell you some other plans. Just keep looking out if someone inspires. Pen drives are the best but what comes second in data transfer?

That's for sure. Remember: everything is at least remotelly pleasurable, then for sure is: - illegal and/or - imoral and/or - makes you fat.

Pen drives are everything today and living in a world without these technology that means it very difficult to handle files and data, If pen drives become illegal we will have lot of problems transferring the data, without pen drive and also mentioning hard drives there is no option we can transfer data easily. Now coming to the part of discussion of different ways to transfer data one thing we can use is the Bluetooth technology but this is also not sufficient as the transfer rate is slow. Apart from that we can store data in mobiles nowadays mobiles phones are coming up in market with huge storage devices. So concluding on the topic i think if Pen drives become illegal the only option left for us is using our mobile phones as storing portable technology.

That's a nice idea. As we go Further, the mobile phone now have great memory capabilities. We can use them as storage places. We now have phone which store 20 times a pen drive stores and everyone does carry a mobile then why not carry your work in it?! Really nice.

I don't think that pen drives will ever become illegal and one can not think these days to work without them. I think they are used by every literate person now and have become an essential part of day to day work. If I get my pen drive lost soon I have to buy the another.

Does that mean that if it becomes illegal, you'll go against the law in using them. Are they so important? Are you so highly dependant on it? Do you some other way to transfer data?

If government makes pendrives illegal then that means that it wants to monitor what people store or carry so as to control terrorism and piracy. So it itself will provide you with an alternative. It will provide you with some high speed data storage servers which donot require any internet connection to operate. Now the only draw back will be that you cannot carry music anymore.nor you can borrow movies from friend because it is monitered . But i suggest donot think too much about it.It does not matter at all.because some day pendrive will go extinct and a new thing will come like a watch with internal memory with sensore like blue tooth to capture data.

Really nice to hear from you. That's a really nice reason, why pen drives can become illegal! We really seem on the way to such technologies and it'll really help in monitoring terrorism. But this world is easier, isn't it?

I've also cancelled the option of portable hard disks. But the idea of using your phone's memory card is awesome. Nice working your way out that way.

you are over the line for you concern, i think it is not a big deal, because we have have the underground technology that never beat down, is it not?

I take it your not saying pen drives will become illegal your just asking how we would deal with it if it happened and not predicting that they will be banned as that is fairly unlikely.I think i would probably use SD cards as an alternative as it is simmilarly convenient to use as a pen drive the difference being its size.I would probably lose them regularly as i have lost plenty of pen drives and i don't know how i would manage with something a lot smaller.

hey hi PENDRIVES BECOME ILLEGAL !!!!! :-0 dint hear of such things till now but if at all that happens i am pretty sure there will be millions and millions of people around the world to be fretting about this . imagine a life without pendrives or hard drives !!!! OMG is the world really coming to an end ??? life is totally not possible without these pendrives or hard drives!!!!! But if the rule is made even more stricter so tat the entire world follows it then may be i will use my email account to store all my precious data and anyways everyone will be having net connections so any files or data that requires to be transferred could be transferred throught mails from one person to another .. i think this is the quickest and most possible way .. there again there is hope popping out of our heart that if pendrives and hard drives are completely eradicated we will get to use the internet services without any hindrances like we face now.lets see whats there in store for us..
