ebay stores.

does anyone own an ebay store? i've been thinking of buying things and customising clothes and making jewellery and selling it on ebay.. but i noticed a lot of people sell things for like £5 with free post and packaging, and i'm just wondering how they make any money. they obviously pay for the postage, then the fee for listing the item, and the fee for selling the item, and the fee for recieving the money via paypal.. so all in all you're maybe making like £2, and it probably cost you £1 in the first place.. ok so you're doubling your money, but at what time expense.. i'm very confused.

Hi I also would like to try to sell some items on ebay however my dilemma is the cost of freight .. if you ship it then will this not eat all your expected profits and when you buy online and you want it to resell would it be possible that the item you bought will not be delivered to you but instead to the person whom you made the resale...

well you actually put the cost of postage into the listing on ebay. someone buys your item for £10, but they pay £13.50.. the £3.50 for postage.. so you aren't out any money for that.. and no i don't think you can have it delivered to the person to whom you made the resale, as the original invoice will be on the item, and the person will see that you charged them more?
