Ok so obviously i haven't a vampire in person before but I have been watching all these vampire movies and i have to say that i am pretty much confused with the whole concept of Vampires, I recently have watched a few movies and they all pictured them in various ways, In one movie they showed how vampires gets burned as soon they get exposed to sunlight, in another movie there are two kinds of vampire one are the creatures and they can't come out in sunlight, however the human vampire(Humans bitten by those creatures) can roam in the sunlight without burning themselves and then there is one movie where the vampires shine in sunlight like they have some kind of diamonds and stuffs inside their body. So i have been wondering what is the real deal, What do you think an actual vampire would be like? any ideas?

Well, the original vampire I know about- is that they suck blood to remain alive and beautiful. They are creatures of the night, since Dracula traded his soul to the devil- they cannot roam in the sunlight or they'll get burned. They can be killed by decapitation, burning or stake to the heart.

Vampires are mythical character invented by writers. Bram Stoker is a novelist who only writes about vampires. He had an obsession with this character but he only made them up including the places and the names. He wrote about Count Dracula, a real count from Romania. Count Dracula is believed to be very cruel during his time and killed the people who didn't obey him in a cruel way. When i researched about this, I learned that there really is a count DRacula but there were no proof of his cruelty. So nowadays, the vampire characters and their powers evolved. Since there is no real vampire, then we cannot tell what they really are like but we can accept that they can have those powers and inabilities.

So you are saying that the word Dracula is just a name? I have been hearing the word Dracula since i was kid, and it is generally said to mean something horrible and wicked that would eat your brains out and something like that lol. Anyways thanks for sharing!

I think what they have shown in the movies about vampires are all myths, but I have seen one episode of the Tyra Banks Show posted in YouTube about The Vampire culture. They claim that Vampires are true but they are not really creepy; but beautiful creatures. They just look like normal human beings but...they drinks blood and consumes energy. However they are not prying on unwilling victim but drinks blood and consumes energy from a willing donor. They don't bite and they have fake fangs. They take blood using needles and drinks it from a glass.Maybe they just evolve into a modern vampire. They said that if drinks blood regularly skin blemishes including moles, birth marks will disappear. They are also practicing celibacy. It's so weird,I wonder if they are really vampires as what they claim.Maybe they are some kind of cults or a religion called Vampirulogy,I'm not sure of that. They are thriving in the U.S.,and you'll never know who sets next to you...

Interesting! That's the peaceful version of the vampires i guess, but my question is, if vampires really exist, not all of them are good, there must be some bad vampires too and they intend to forcefully bite people and such for the blood right? and i haven't heard of anything like that in the news or tv, so we can't be sure they exist, can we now?

There are many legends for vampires. In my mind, vampires are afraid of sunlight and Latin Cross, they are evil but beautiful. Their appearance can attract people, then bite them to get power. They sleep in coffin. I watched a lot of vampires' movies too. In my opinion, the most authentic movie describe vampires is Interview with the Vampire.

I think it is something not specifically defined. That is the reason why the vampire were different for different stories' movies. The writer can imagine kind of vampire with any possibilities; such as they run fast, they can smell the blood and etc. Of course I never know even a true vampire, so I couldn't imagine how exactly the vampire behave. Think in the other way, it brings more entertainment for us as they are various vampires in the movies.

Yup they do bring entertainment for us, but if vampires were real i dont think they would like the ideas of killing them in every single movie and such . Anyways thanks for sharing.
