Why girls never listen during adverse situations?

I have frequent fights with my girlfriend and of course that is natural between lovers. But, during adverse situations and tuff times, like during a fight, often she never listens to whatever I say. She thinks that her point is right and everyone else's is wrong. Even if I explain patiently, she never accepts and respond adamantly. I usually say, "Let's leave it dear and be happy"

Youre a great patient guy, i dont know what you were doing with her?i mean she should have atleast compromised or something. She cannot be right all the time.Shes a human being is she? i think she listens but doesnt know how to deal with it.

It's really sexist to say "girls never listen during adverse situations" based on your girlfriend alone, who is after all just one woman.
I don't think its a male or a female thing, I think some people are just inclined to believe they're always right (even when they're wrong) and I'm afraid I don't know how to deal with people like that.
You can't always just let it go though - what about if you're fighting about something that's really important to you?

That's the best thing to do my friend. After sometime when you are both in good mood, you can joke about it and maybe say your piece.
