I like to read about historic and pre historic pasts .the most famous civilisation is Harrapan civilisation that is spread in large part of Indian subcontinent. The most interesting part is that it existed between 2500 BC - 1750 BC when most part of the world was going through chalcolithic age (stone copper age). The cultural patterns which emerged in Harrapa continued till later times inspite of political and social changes and migration of new ethnic groups of people into India .The Harrapan culture was much advanced and civilised .They knew the usage of tin ,copper ,bronze ,gold and silver. During the last few years Indian archaelogical and research on Harrapan culture made a considerable progress .Share some knowledge about history or famous historical event of your country ?

Well, there isn't much between the stone age and modern times in Austin, but San Antonio Texas (for whom my cat Tony is named since I drove to San Antonio to get him) has early Spanish missions there. However, I am really fascinated by the ancient pueblo people, and when my mom had a condo in Durango Colorado, I would go visit her and we'd go to some of these sites. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancient_Pueblo_Peoples
