How do you feel about snipy, snide or humorous attempts at answers?

I can't control myself at times. I'll play Devil's Advocate or dive into a terrible ironic parody at any time. I wouldn't be surprised if I have more than a couple "haters" on here already, and most of them I wouldn't blame. I can be pretty rude when I get going, but I hope everyone knows it is not out of hate or ill will. Heck, it would be worse if it weren't for MyLot rules against one word answers and annoying one liners. (I've been on that thin line several times when I feel the question doesn't deserve much more than that.) I would say, I hope noone is offended by my responses, but that would be a lie [and that ship has sailed :)]. The only thing I hope is that people know it is not out of spite or hate that I do these things, it's just in my genes to be mean. (The "my genetics made me do it" defense!) How do you all really feel about these type of answers? Do they make anybody smile? Are you just disgusted? Or is there a line that makes you flinch when someone crosses it?
