Old classmates posting old pictures and then tagging you.

i like this, in a way. it reminds me how far i have come as a person, in many old photos i have bad posture and you can see i lack confidence. now i am totally different. seeing that person, me, in a picture is like looking at someone else!

I also looked awful back then, but I don't mind if they tag me in the photos and I don't feel embarrassed at all. Like you i just laughed at those pictures. They bring back good memories of how childish and foolish I was in the past and how I enjoyed my less complicated life back then.

Things change, even people change. So, nothing to worry about. If you don't look good before, then that does not matter anymore because people look at you for what you are now. However, if things hasn't change and nothing had improved in your life, then that is something you have to feel embarrassed about. Be proud of what you are now.

It's a wonder why you'd feel embarrassed with your old photos, isn't it that we look better when we're younger as compared to now when we're older? I don't really feel embarrassed at all, even if there are photos of me on a bad hair day or a bad outfit day. I was bigger then and I don't mind them tagging me, because I absolutely feel gorgeous and it's fun to see old shots. Not to mention that nobody would ever really care, most wouldn't really know who you are. After all, you are not some moviestar or actor/actress that's really famous now. Just have fun with it. You can safely untag yourself in photos that are too revealing or with photos that you are not comfortable with. We have this batchmate who decided to switch genders. So all her photos where that of a young boy then. So she just untags herself but she's free to see the old photos anytime she wants. Have a great MyLot experience today!

Personally I do not like someone adding my photos on the net. If I want to add any of them, I shall do it myself. But nowadays, it is impossible to tell everyone not to do that. I have resigned to the fact that from time to time, it will happen.

Yeah, I wonder why some people find some humor in doing that. They just can't move on by themselves. They have to always tag other people with them. That is the downside of Facebooking.LOL

I'm feel good when I see childhood pictures (I'm currently 19) since it brings back happy memories.

I feel kind of embarrassed. But the good thing is I'm happy to see that old picture. It surely brings back a lot of good memories. I hope there is just a notification before you can actually tagged someone.

I don't join FB so I don't know. But seeing how you were in the old days would bring back good, sad and embarrassing memories...

I have seen some trouble come out of this in my Facebook wall when others upload pictures of others and I can see all the upset ones get angered over it. I can in a sense understand as I perhaps would ask permission first. I would not have a problem if someone posted something of me, but then I would if it were of old pictures and me and someone I use to date and being in a relationship now it sort of does not feel good. *sad* It has happened to me and although I have asked to get them removed and others kindly have, I often wondered why not ask first. I would have asked my friends first if it was okay. As for any of me back in grammar and high school, I would laugh too as though I think , I looked cute, I can't help but wonder, wow that was me. lol

Hi damned! I like seeing my old photos in Facebook. Many of my old classmates and friends post them online. I like being tagged in those pictures and somehow reunite with my long time pals.

hi, usually that happened to me at facebook social site,they posted the high school class pictures and even those pictures that captured years ago,of course when i saw those picture i feel who am i looking backward of the time and starts to miss those happy moments with my schoolmates.happy to see that there are still people who stil kept old pictures.

I don't really know who even invented tagging but they should be punished lol. I mean I actually had that happen to me to and I went and untagged it because they put my professional name "Spiritualist Katherine" to an old high school photo! Of course I was horrified because of that big eighties hair I had. Oh and I cannot mention all of the acne that was on my forehead. People should ask before they tag you in stuff like this online.

Well,those good old days will surely flashed back. None has ever done yet,maybe my classmates were too busy to post those old pictures of ours. But we do reminisce old moments when we got the chance to chat in facebook. It's good to have those memories back with our friends,it bring us back to the memory lane,full of laughters,innocence and adventures. I miss those days actually

Hehehe...it makes me feel embarrassed to have people to see my old photos cause I was not really good looking before. I also laugh and I feel that I have really improved somehow.

It's very nostalgic and sometimes mixed emotion because you will remember the happiness with your friends at the same time those bad things that happen to you.. it's very fun to remember the highschool life.

oh good to hear this all because before reading all this I used to think this is only me who feel like this. I used to think I am weird or stuff. I honestly feel the same way. when ever I was tagged in some picture of mine of my childhood I used to look at it.it reminded me of a good memory I felt good but when I looked at my self I felt embarrassing and moreover when a feeling comes that all the world would be looking at this this really made me feel more and more embarrassed.

Hi, there. Urhm.. Sometime I face the same problem too. Anyway, i took the positive thinking. When looking back how ugly i was, I am proud and happy that what am i now. Those old days are crazy and ugly, but it was truly Happy :). So i would love my friends to post all those pictures on Facebook, just that i will make sure that i set it private so to avoid "some people" to see it. Haha
