south beach diet. anybody?!

I've been obese when i gave birth to my youngest child and it's just so hard to lose weight. I do lose a few pound then gain more after a few weeks. A friend of mine introduced me to south beach diet and low carb foods for a start.i tried to do it for a week and I actually lost about 7-8 lbs that week only. I'm not sure if its the food or a combination of more liquids (coz I have been drinking alot of water) etc... Please share to me some of your stories about south beach diet and also some simple recipes if you have.Thanks...Good day everyone

I've never tried South Beach diet but I know a friend who's been doing it and coupling it with exercise at the gym and even join marathon. She's now enjoying the weight of less around 98lbs. I guess you have to continue the South Beach diet and do some exercises at the same time.

Yes, I should really get back on exercising. Sometimes I just lack the motivation to do so...
