Canon ip 1000 printer doesn;t print anything.. :(

At first, it said that the waste ink absorber was full, so I searched the net on how to solve this problem. I cleaned it already and followed the steps- and the printer ran again, but it doesn't print anything, it just runs the bondpaper in and out.. Can anyone help?
