Now that you have forgotten it you will have to find another one or borrow one from the hotel. You sure cannot afford to go messed up for the presentation. You got to be well grommed and it matters a lot. So ask the hotel staff and surely they will have a spare one that can be given to you. Change of bags led to all this mess. You may have transfered most of the stuff but not all the stuff and more importantly forgot your comb which is needed for your gromming. May be what you could do is make a check list and pin it up somewhere close to where you keep your bags. Mention the most important things that you need to carry in the handbag each time. It will come in handy when you in a hurry and dont remenber what is in the bag and what is not..

Hehe to be honest i don't comb my hair, well atleast not everyday . My hair ain't that long so it doesn't need regular brushing. I just wake up, get fresh, wear my clothes and I'm ready to take off. I don't comp my hair after taking a shower too and I am thankful I don't have tangles too!! Well I think the room service will provide you with one. If not, you can always ask for it Good luck for the presentation tomorrow. I hope you do awesome

Hi! I also get annoyed at myself whenever I forget to bring a comb. A comb is a must-have for me, I always carry one because my hair is so unruly and needs to be combed once in a while within a day. I don't use gel or anything that's applied to hair. I used to but it doesn't have an effect so I stopped using it. Maybe you can use a hair gel or something. I'm not sure if a hotel can provide combs, but it's worth a try. If you can't find a comb then maybe you can use your fingers?^^

I think removing hair tangles during shower is a good way to lessen unruliness of the hair when it dries.

I guess most hotel if not all have a policy of helping their guest in any way they can.You can call the front desk and tell them your predicament I know they will be happy to help. Housekeeping in most hotels also see to it that toiletries and other stuffs they taught could be needed by guests are available in each room.I hope your problem had been solved and your presentation was a success.

Well the thing is i was staying in a province..and it was not really a five star hotel.. but its ok i was able to solve the problem and the presentation still went well.

That's really distressing. However, you can call front desk to help you on that. They can either give you a new comb from their supplies, or they can ask a personnel to buy one for you. They are customer and service oriented, so for sure they will do that for you.

Actually, you can ask for a room boy or attendant to buy one for you. You can just give them a tip.

Don't worry! Shame, that is a terrible feeling when you forget something important while you're travelling - I ALWAYS forget my cell phone charger which is a disaster! I'm sure someone at the hotel will have a comb though - you can call the front desk or even pop in to a 24hr store at a gas station or something, they often sell that kind of thing as well!

Aww thats terrible for you. I hope that your presentation goes without a hitch. I dont use a comb I use a brush. Getting a comb through my hair would be next to impossible. It looks like your hair long and curly as well. It seems like you would brush it with a brush instead of a comb as well. The hotel usually has complimentary combs that they will give to you.

Wow I cant believe they didnt have a comb to give out thats not cool :( I guess you used what you could. My sister was telling me that the other day she had her kids somewhere and had forgotten to brush her hair. All there was in their vehicle was a butter knife lol so that is what they brushed my neices hair with. I was like I would have just said oh well and skipped trying to do anything with her hair.

That has happened to me too. It wasn't until I didn't have one that I realized how important a comb is. If there is a store near by, you might be able to snag a comb. If you have a hair band or a hat, you can also tug your hair under their. Or perhaps run your fingers through your hair and maybe it would come out right? I understand your frustration and hope everything works out.

Well I guess everyone's said ya know about hotels having combs, I didn't know they had combs, but that's good. If I didn't have a brush I would try to comb my hair with my fingers, I'd probably shampoo and condition my hair and be sure to comb my hair with my fingers while it dried so that it would look combed. Good luck on the presentation!

hello jazel, I hope and wish your problem is solved now. Don't worry next time you know very well what to check with your luggage (ehehe) Always have a small kit for your vanity intact esp that you are travelling a lot. That way you will not missed anything important. Asking for an alternative...are you comfortable with fork my dear ? just kidding....enjoy your day

Oh i should have read this first! hahaha so i could have borrowed a fork and used it! The problem was solved..thanks to my ever helpful fingers I brushed my hair with my fingers after i took a bath careful not to make anymore tangles..and then tied it into a bun..a messy bun but it looks fashionable enough hahaha and had to ask for gel from the guys so it wont get messy and stays in place..

You can try borrowing one or you can always use your fingers. I also forget things like my keys or my ATM card. It's okay, you don't need to beat yourself up because of it.

I rarely comb my hair. I use a hairbrush or I use my fingers as a comb, when i do not have neither a brush nor a comb. Good luck with your presentation. Hope everything will go well for you.

Surely in the hotel where you are you can get a comb. I don't think they couldn't get ones. After all is not something difficult to achieve. Good luck for tomorrow!

this happened to me once, and i had no choice but to use my fingers to comb my hair. i do not have a shampoo-commercial worthy kind of hair and my solution did not actually helped. i eventually just tied my hair into a messy bun.

hmm... it would be a disaster if you do not find one but since you're staying in a hotel i bet they'd have one. I have long hair too and I know the importance and necessity of having a comb. I hope you find one so you dont scare your clients away

Then I guess next time jot down all the things you need to pack up. So that next time you will just refer to the notes you make and not on the bag you take.

That happens to me a lot when I use another bag for some days. I usually transfer all the important things, but then there's always one thing that you miss to put into the bag you'll carry. Sometimes, I forgot the keys and left it inside the other bag. I think that's worse than forgetting a comb. Haha!
