Having a baby is indeed fun, exciting and a big responsibility. Knowing the abiliy and watching him/her do the first talk, laugh, crawl, walk and eat.
I already experienced it although I'm not a father yet but because my sister got a baby boy for the first time and I'm the one who almost take good care of him. Indeed its not easy but its a fullfilment to me. I watch him grow from birth and now he just got 1yr old this july but their is one problem that always bother us. Since before he used to suck his thumb everytime he will go to sleep or for some time and it alarms us specially my sister because its her first time and have no idea how to stop it.
For experts or mothers who experienced we would like to us to you solutions or tips on how to stop to sucking his thumb. It would be an honor for me to hear mothers comments here. Thank you!

Don't worry about it, let him suck his thumb. My oldest son sucked his thumb from the time he was born until he was 10 years old. Yes 10! I had an ultra sound done before he was born and he was sucking his thumb even then. When he turned 10 he decided on his own that he was too big to be sucking his thumb and he quit. After quitting, however, he found that sometimes he would do it without knowing, in his sleep, so he devised a method on his own to help him out. When he went to bed at night he taped his thumb to the rest of his fingers, therefore could not unconsciously put it in his mouth. Problem solved and he hasn't sucked his thumb since.
