'Torchwood'

When I heard that Torchwood was coming to StarZ, my adrenaline started pumping. Firstly, I couldn't imagine what direction it would be headed in, because the last episode that I seen, reduced what was an amazing crew of 5 down to 2. And all I could think of was that BBC, had done it again, here they go killing 'key character's' off again! But no matter, I knew I would be checking out the American/BBC version ... and I am so glad I did! For those that haven't seen it, I won't go into detail. However, that are establishing a new team, and they do seem to be dynamic! And if there episodes continue to be as captivating as the first one, for sure ... I will be HAPPILY HOOKED ... 8o)

I haven't seen it yet, but I was excited by the news as well. I know the developers wanted to spin it into an American series and this must be the first step. I hope it did well enough for them to continue and bring it to a weekly show format on a regular network.

Well, it sure grabbed my attention. The only thing that I was disappointed over was the length of the first episode. You know how some season premiere's are at least 2 hours long, well this one was only an hour ... and I wanted more !

I've seen the first episode of the new series and I wasn't exactly blown away. I liked the premise, but the first episode felt a bit too heavy on the exposition. I like the new characters (though I try not to compare them to Tosh and Ianto, who I will always love and miss terribly) and I'm excited to see where they take the show this year

Sorry you don't share my enthusiasm ... you see I just love it, when a series introduces a bunch of dangling threads. Then I know or at least hope, that means there's a lot of unexpected content awaiting the viewer. Well, that's at least what I'm hoping. In any case, time will tell!
