For those trying to conceive, would you consider undergoing In Vitro Fertilization? If not, what factors affect your decision not to?

I would definitely consider IVF. It has been shown to be an effective way to conceive and if you use the sperm and egg from the partners then I don't think there are any ethical or other reasons to not go through with it. At the end of the day, it is a similar process to the natural process that would be occurring within your body, so it is actually quite a good method of conceiving.

i've got the same opinion as yours. as long as it's from the married couple, i do not think there is anything wrong with it. it's not as if the doctor and the couple undergoing the procedure are playing Gods. I would rather see it as the doctor being God's instrument in aiding the couples to procreate beyond the natural process. thanks for your insight.

I wouldn't have a problem with it. It's just the use of science to aid a process that couldn't have happen otherwise. It's not like we are playing god, they don't create life, they just give life a little help to exist.
