Concealed Carry and Voter rights...

Now that the Wisconsin Concealed Carry law has been passed, the left here is freaking out. They are whining because they say the training requirements are too lenient. These are the same people who whine about voters who don't have IDs being "disenfranchised"... even though the state will pay for voter IDs. Both are rights, but for some reason, only one seems to be respected by the left. They say guns are dangerous, they say Wisconsin will become "The Old West" now that concealled carry is legal. But I ask you, which is more dangerous, the law abiding citizen who carries a concealled weapon, or citizens who vote in ignorance?

Horray for the Concealed Carry law that has passed! It is about time; now I think the "bad" guys will think twice before robbing a person or breaking into their house and home or their place of business. Since we live in America it seems only right to be able to carry a weapon to protect our selves; police can not do everything. They are overworked and have many other calls to go to and their lives are put in danger everyday tring to protect us. Why not have someone who takes clasess and KNOWs how to use a weapon and only for a dire life threatning situation would they use it. It's not like they are waiving it in the air and shooting it in the sky or not being responsible about it. Again it is our government controling us and our decsions including who we vote for. I mean they the polititions put on the tv and news only what they WANT us to hear, not the truth. I find that people fall prey to that and then they also stick so closely to their political stand point that even if the person would be horrible for our country they Still vote for said person. Why? Out of ignorance. I would like to see more people actualy study about the person(s) before really voting and pray about and if you don't pray really contenplate it. Our country needs a push in the refresh button.

Oh, that's an excellent question. The government we have today (and I'm not just talking about the last 2 years) is a result of people voting in ignorance, don't you think? It's also a result of people voting without really checking on the ones for whom they're voting, believing that they wouldn't be on the ballot if they were not legitimate and real lovers of our Constitution. Yeah. How has that worked out for us? I'm tired of the Dems claiming that people will be disenfranchised by having to show ID to vote. Really? Who are these people who have no ID? I have not seen one single one show up on the news. You know why? If you get any kind of government assistance, you have to have ID. When my brother was homeless (his choice) he found that you had to show ID to get into any of the shelters in his town. So, where are the people without IDs??? Hmmm. I think that voters who are uninformed are much more dangerous to us all than people who are licensed to have a concealed weapon.

That's horrible! If you allow concealed carry then criminals will carry concealed weapons! Oh... wait... criminals already do.
