I still remember I once attended a six weeks long intensive class for my french class and I need that course to graduate in my university. it was really tough enough that the teacher spoke not even one word in English and expected you to successfully to learn the third language through your second language. It was really tough and finally I made it for my graduation . It was such a tough experience for me and I would never forget it. At the same time, I have only passed three days fir my two weeks intensive course for something else and I still have about two weeks to go and I felt tired enough that I can fall into sleep at anytime. How do you feel and share your experience.

I did an intensive driving course, which was 2-3 hours per day for 10 days. By the end of the lessons, my ankles were aching, my head felt really fuzzy and I was about ready to kill my instructor. I was so tired constantly, since I'd finish the lessons, relax for a bit and then go over the "show me, tell me" questions in the evening with either my parents or my partner. Honestly, I think my intensive course was a bit of a waste of time, since I unfortunately failed my test first time :( I didn't have any lessons between failing and my second test, just practiced driving my mum's car as much as possible to build up my confidence and passed. The lessons were stressful, and honestly I think being praised on what I did right while being my family's taxi was much more effective than being criticised for mistakes during my lessons. The intensive course made me feel stressed, demoralised and I had nothing in common with my instructor at all. Your class sounds really tough too but at least you passed it which is the most important thing!

HI Drasnian! You just make me remember of my driving class I took 2 years ago and with test I was still failed to pass the exam.(^^) I don't know why my skills or how they teach me but I stopped from taking the class feeling that the agent just want my money without even provide the best service in their lessons.

I sort of felt that way - there was nothing wrong with my driving that she could actively help with, I just needed to get used to the car and to driving a bit more you know? Technically, I could do everything, but I didn't have the confidence or the skill to do things like parallel parking perfectly every time. She'd taught me how to do it, all I needed was more practice. She could have told me to practice in my mum's car, but instead she said "you're ready for the test" and of course, I wasn't. Afterwards, she tried to get me to book more lessons, which was pointless as all I needed was more practice. As expensive as it was to get me insured on my mum's car for a month, it certainly wasn't £20 per hour!! Did you ever go back and learn to drive?

When my daughter was six months old I decided that it was time that I go back to work, but I wanted to do something that was more lucrative than what I had been doing before, so I decided to go into nursing assistant. There were many different options for the class, but I thought that the best would be to take the two week intensive class. It was hard because it was 8 hours a day, five days a week for two weeks and I was also working as well. However, it was all worth it in the long run because I was able to get a good job quicker.
