what do you suggest is the best program to create youtube videos?

I just recently started a blog, About a week ago and I thought a good place to promote it would be on Youtube. For you advanced Youtube users I was wondering what the easiest and most user friendly program to use to make videos, Mostly just small slide shows, With Text and so on. Basically your most Basic Youtube Videos.

You'll get a lot of 'advice' telling you how to make your videos all snazzy, with the newest editing web-cam hardware and the FLASHY-FLASHY-FLASHY; but No! NOOOOOOO! YouTube is for you to express yourself however YOU ALREADY CAN (not how 'popular' people would).
I imagine my computer was designed before web-vids were en vogue. So I just use the capabilities it came with: Windows XP Movie Maker (kind of a slideshow-program) and a microphone (well, I had to buy the microphone separate, but I didn't have to build anything new into the computer.)

I use windows movie maker because its free and with my youtube videos I don't do alot of special effects or anything just making, cute little video commericals of photos and my phone number and website to promote my business. So for your basic needs windows movie maker is great its already in you computer.
