Do you like tall building or short buildings?

I like short buildings and this does not spoil the look of the landscape. I am very happy to see short buildings next to a beach and not tower blocks. I do notice cities have some tall buildings and this is a shame. However in cities land is expensive so they built upwards. Yes, air conditioning runs on electricity and much of it is used. It makes expensive bills for the tall buildings. Cleaning the glass windows when the building is tall can be dangerous.

on the basis of likeness i like tall buildings...b'coz a tall building is equivalent to many small buildings...and soo the power used ina tall building will be equal to few small buildings...bt it also saves ur more land...its better to have one tall building rather than few small vuildings..as the power req wud b equal in both the case.

I think tall buildings are cooler than short ones. They just look a lot more intimidating and a lot of famous buildings are really tall ones... in regards to energy I think these buildings all have a good design that limits energy use. The architect would be pretty bad at his job if it wasnt.

I think tall skyscrapers are really pretty. I wouldn't want to work in one though, I'd rather work in a small short building just because it would be kind of scary to work in a super tall building just because I'm not very fond of heights! Luckily at my office job I am in the basement lol.

I tend to like short buildings for one simple reason: So I can see the skyline. However, I do admit when I am driving into a city at night and see the lit up skyline of buildings that is pretty too.

i like tall building.. in my opinion tall building better for the earth than short building because it can contain human alot more in the same land, so we don't have to open more forrest for us to live... the main problem in our earth is that land don't grow while human do, so like it or not in the future we will have either short buildings with no forrest or extremely high-raise building....

I worry about waste in tall buildings, but my pet peeve with modern construction is actually short buildings with wasted space. Why are we building 2 and 3 story buildings with huge open areas, three story ceilings of metal and glass wasting untold amounts of prime land. I hate it.

I like buildings according to their purpose. A building should be designed according to its purpose. For example- for commercial purposes a tall & multistory building is well satisfied but for study purposes short & scattered building is fully enjoyable.

I always prefer tall buildings :D makes the cities beautiful :) If you want an environment-friend city, you should choose the small buildings, if you want a beautiful city, I think you should choose the tall buildings :D
