new puppy!

well my new puppy comes tonight! i am so excited. we opted for a chihuahua. he's tiny and cream with a little black muzzle and i've named him elvis. the girl we got him from is amazing! shes brought him up to see us, let us come down to see him, even let us give her the puppies bed so when he came to us he wouldn't be freaked out as he'd been sleeping in that bed for a week or more :) :) .. and i've ended up striking up quite a friendship with the girl. the pups are really cheap as she breads for herself, not for profit. she always keeps a pup and shes a real animal lover, and she only ever breads a dog twice.. which is more than can be said for alot of people! sick people with puppy farms! .. so he comes tonight and i cannot wait! .. i'm determined to train him far better than i did with my other dog lol shes a wee menace! hehe :)

I'm glad that you didn't get the puppy from a puppy mill. I hate people who breed dogs for money. They're sick. I would never ever buy a dog from a puppy mill!
Would love to see a picture of your chihuahua. I like those breeds but i couldn't have them since they're noisy and i learned from browsing the net that they don't like being bothered by kids. They get along more well with adults, but when i'm at my parents' all my nephews and nieces are there and the puppy might get irritated.

hes a wee cutie! i haven't got any photos of him on my computer yet, but when i do i will change my display pic to one. he's a lovely wee thing, and he adores my other dog! he has her tortured :) .. hes still at a sleepy age so maybe if i get him used to my nephews early he won't be too bad!

Congrats! It's good that you're getting the pup from a good breeder. Most people don't take the time to find good, reputable breeders. And good luck with training. I helped raise my uncle's pit bull pup and it was a lot of work! Unfortunately my uncle didn't continue with the training so now the dog is pretty wild and doesn't listen lol! Anyway you should start another discussion later and post a picture of your new pup :)

pit bulls? wow.. they are seen to be really scary vicious dogs here.. but i take it he wasn't like that? i will post a picture of my puppy when i get a few on my computer. hes so so tiny he can fit in my shoe! lol!

First congrats you've got a real pet now with you. Puppy is a good pet to be with. You've done a right thing by getting ur pup from a girl who is not making like a business for brought up the pup. Enjoy with the new arrival in your family :)

awww thanks so much! i am really enjoying him :) apart from the lack of sleep haha! they are worse than babies!
