When is the last time any of you have seen the Shawshank Redemption that is a sikk movie. U get a lot of twists and suspense build ups.I would reccomed this to anybody who is looking for a good movie. When the wrong man gets accused of crime he didn't commit he goes through hell and he makes a few lifetime friends in the process, a true story of an innocent and how he spent years in one of the most notorious prisons known to date the Shawshank Redemption!

Very, very, very good film in every way. The actors are awesome, the story's great and it's beautifully filmed. It also recently supplanted The Godfather as the #1 film of all time on IMDB's top 250 (voted for by the public).

Shawshank Redemption happens to be one of my favorite films of all time. The story was very well-written, the scenes were done nicely and the actors were very, very good. I am a big fan of this film and of Tim Robbins. I love how he meticulously planned his escape and how patient he was to execute the plan for several years. I have probably seen this film 4 or 5 times already and I still would love to watch it over and over again.

Unfortunately, it is one of the movies that I appreciated very much.....the kind of movie that you will not forget....most movies now are junks that after viewing you forget all about it....I am not fond of watching movies, but with this one, i would be very happy to watch it again....

Shawshank is one of my favorite movies! I loved the story line, the axtors, writing...everything! Morgan Freeman & Tim Robbins are some of my favorite actors too! The film was based on a novella by Steven King, also one of my favorite actors. I have watched the movie more than 10 times- easy to lose count! (Have you seen the green mile? that was a great 1 too!) Thanks for mentioning the movie...made me smile thinking about it!

In my country on the tv they like show it every month 1-2 times :D and i don't get really bored of it it's somehow cool i like it really :D so i have no problem with it

I tend to like movies that are true stories. I thought Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins played their parts well. I don't own this movie but when its on my husband and I still watch it. I wonder why you did not feel it was a good movie.
