Actually there is no restriction whatsoever in the selection of colors in your home. Because there is no rule that became mandatory in the process of choosing colors for a house to live in accordance with your personality as surely they will be homeowners. For example, you are an active, optimistic, excited .... you could paint your living room with shades of red, no one can blame you for that express your personal character. Well ... make it easier to determine who match the color theme and style of your personality ... take a moment and try to focus on this question; - What kind of color combination you want? Do you prefer a combination of one color (monochromatic), a little color harmony (analog), who contrast color combinations (complementary) or a complex combination of colors? - The atmosphere what you want to present in your living room? Do you want a room a warm atmosphere, intimate and inviting? Or elbow room to give comfort and security protected? Or a fresh and energetic? - Style of architecture and interior design is what you like most? I assume your home furniture has been available so as to efficiency, adhering to the concept of Color the furniture that already exists. Modern? Ethnic? or eclectic (a mixture of 2 styles)? Do not be afraid to experiment to find colors that match the color of the character who you want to express. You should try to adjust the color values, adding white (tint) or the addition of a dark color (shade) on a color of your choice.

to apply the colors in a room (especially if you have a lot asesories) the most "secure", does not look tacky, the room looks spacious and cheap is to choose a combination of monochromatic colors, color combinations from one color but has a value and intensity are different, so it looks like there are gradations of color. eg if you like chocolate, in terms of value for example, the combination may consist of a monochromatic brown color dark brown, off white, cream to white or light gray. Your room will feel cool and roomy, eye-cetching can be created through the furniture or other accessories.

Maybe this article helps No denying that with the touch of color can transform into something more alive. So also in our homes. Now the walls, ceiling and floors are no longer monotonic with white. The diversity of color variations in materials such as ceramic, parquet, paint the walls and ceiling, making the room a more vibrant place to live. But we need to know the effects that may result from a combination of colors ceiling, walls and floors to the atmosphere or the impression you want created in the room was not wrong. * Dark floor with walls and ceiling light colored (pale), can give the room more spacious effect. * The floor and the ceiling is dark while the light colored wall (young, pale) can provide a broad effect on the room but low. * Ceiling, walls, and dark colored floor space then the form will be lost. For example, ceiling and wall colors dark gray and maroon tile floors. * The floor and back wall of brightly colored, while the right side wall of the left and dark-colored ceiling can create a tunnel effect. * The floor and walls of dark, while the brightly colored ceiling can give effect to the basement. * Floors, walls left and right side pelafond brightly colored while the back wall a dark color can make the room look shorter (to reduce depth of field) * Floor, wall and ceiling behind the brightly colored, while the right side wall of the left in dark can give effect to the room look taller and elongated (narrow). * Floor and ceiling light, while dark-colored walls on all sides can reinforce the horizontal plane * All sides of both floors, walls, and ceiling light and pale in color will give the impression of relief and clean. But do not forget, the selection of quality and color of paint to be used is also worth noting that a proper balance of color and the end result is maximum.

To color the living room that I think is suitable is a Yes ? No gaudy colors like red, yellow, black and other striking warrants. it would be nice to be the living room or fres natural color so that the guests who come to the place you will feel comfortable with the situation in your living room. You can use natural colors such as green (light green), blue (navy blue) and other natural color.

It depends on what you use the room for, and your personality. If you like to relax there then you will be looking for calming colours, but if you like to socialise and party there then something more vibrant would be fun.

I think that this is a personal choice. I don't think that we will all agree on the same color for a living room. I think that it depends on what colors you like, what color you're looking for, what may or may not look good in your living room, and things like that.

I would go for something neutral. It doesn't have to be white, but like beige or brown works too. But choose a timeless color, so your living room doesn't look outdated too soon, which is what normally happens if you go for a very trendy color. My own living room walls are white, and I just add pops of color with the decorations and furniture instead. That works really well for me!
