Boracay is now named the world's 4th best island!

I think Boracay deserves to be world's best Island. It is such a beautiful place to relax on. A lot of tourist enjoys staying there. Have you watch a korean movie called romantic Island? it is a korean movie where the setting is in Boracay. They showcase the beauty of Boracay. I think you should watch it. Its a nice korean movie.

So nice to hear that! I am a Filipino so I am proud to hear one of the islands here has gotten to that fame. As for me I would say Boracay is really a very nice place. Actually there are still more undiscovered beautiful places here in the Philippines. I have visited Boracay already and the place is really worth another visit. I need not speak more about its beauty for so much has been written about it.

had the chance to go to boracay twice already...first time was like 12 yrs ago..it was not that developed yet but it was so nice that you don't want to leave that place..for me it was like a paradise..water was so clear and sand are so fine and white.. i had the chance to go back last summer..spent 4 days and 3 nights (may31 - june3 2011)..it's still is a paradise but there's lot of people now compared before and a lot of new establishments.. BORACAY is a nice place to have fun and relax...quite expensive but it's worth it! happy posting!:D

Yay! Good for Bora! If we go back in time, Boracay island was more beautiful and elegant. Now, the place has been so busy and commercialized. It's similar to the beaches in Laiya, Batangas. Anyway, I'm happy for the recognize Boracay has been given. Hep-hep!

o, this is good news. makes us proud. But, i never been there. i only heard stories and saw picture of it. I'll put that on my to do list. And then, maybe my dream of going there will come true.

I've seen the article as well and it is something that we should be proud of. Hope we continue to care for our natural resources. I've been to Boracay last year with friends and one friend tagged it as her "happy island". We enjoyed our stay there and when there was an airfare promo 2 weeks after we visited the place, we immediately booked again for this year's travel. Hope every Filipino gets to see Boracay and let's continue keeping it as pristine as possible .

That is really awesome and especially if you live there. What is it like there? Does it cost a lot to travel there? It seems like traveling to most islands cost quit a bit, in fact traveling in the usa can cost a lot :). I've never heard of Boracay but it must be pretty awesome if it has such great reviews and is listed as the world's 4th best island. Congrats to everyone who lives there!
