Have you ever stared at the mirror and ask yourself... how much are you worth?

Self Worth... put a value on it! - have you ever stared into a mirror, and look at yourself like you would any other individual, and then ask the question "How much is the bugger (in the mirror) really worth?"

It is always the ultimate question... how much are you worth? really worth? We may think highly of ourselves when ever we are told to judge ourselves. And we always think we are worth $XX,XXX dollars and want that kind of renumeration when we go for job interviews. But have we actually ever been honest to ourselves and put a dollar on the real value of how much we are worth exactly? I mean, we think we are worth $xx,xxx. But in reality, other people may only see us as worthy of only $x! (i know that is a little extreme, but it puts the point across) And this is because we see other people in a way that we can never see ourselves unless we are in front of a mirror. So to the question in the topic... have you ever stared into a mirror, and look at yourself like you would any other individual, and then ask the question "How much is the bugger (in the mirror) really worth?" "If you are an employer, how much will you be willing to pay the bugger (in the mirror) if you have to hire him/her for work?" Do share your thoughts.

It has always come across my mind to ask how much i'm worth, especially when i dress well, look good and feel confident.. haha =D But in any other day, i won't bother asking myself about that for value do depreciate along with what people see and judge.. haha =D Actually a person's value is determined by their character and sense of confidence ^^ NOthing on the outside really matters, especially branded things we have on us. They are nothing but a show. Imagine if one were to strip off everything, their confidence would follow suit.. haha

If i will look into the mirror i will get a little bit of smile on my face. Because i am an young boy. And i mainly look into mirror to practice the communications skills and facial expressions. It is worth and plus point to me to see in mirror...

wow i guess this is a question i've never asked myself! it has never occurred to me to wonder how much i'm worth. now that i think about it, money is just not the 'currency' i'll measure my worth by. i mean, it's just numbers and mean absolutely nothing. my worth, at least to me, is determined by what kind of effect i have had made on another being's life. as for work, i guess i'm really lucky to say that i don't need to work for money. not that i don't need any, but the criteria for choosing a job is definitely not money. i guess personal satisfaction is far higher up on my priority list.

No. I have literally never done this. I also wouldn't base my worth on money. I cannot be sold. I am not worth any money and I never wish to be. How much an employer pays a person has nothing to do with that person's worth.

I think we are the most worthy one for ourselves. In others people's value we can be seen as useless and loosers. A highly worthy person in other people's eyes is successful, famous and very skilled.

good question. many times I use to think yes God has given more than probably what I deserve. Because there are thousands of others who are more capable than myself still not being able to achieve whatever I was able to achieve. Yes. I do assess what I am worth and I try only those areas wherein I may succeed.
