These days, we all know that, without chicken as a dish, we people couldn't take our lunch or dinner forward! But, is this mentality of ours going to backfire us in the long run or affect our health in one or other way? With lots of hormones injected into chicken's these days, the big question is that, are our bodies safe from all these poisonous hormones that are injected to preserve chicken's? How do you people feel?

There is a saying that goes "too much of a good thing." What it means, is simply put... no matter what it is there can always be too much of something, and we as people need to know where to draw the line. It's no secret that almost every food you buy has been processed in some way, chicken included. With this in mind consider the above saying when it comes to preparing and making any type of meal. As humans we need a balance in our lives. If chicken was the only meat you ate, then yes... over the long-term you could make yourself sick. This goes for any food. As long as you include a veriety of various foods in your diet, the chances of any one of them harming your healf in the long-run is very rare, and if this does happen other facters must be considered. Such as how often you're eating said food, how often you eat other foods, how active you are, any prior or existing health concerns and much more. So no.... as long as you use your head it shouldn't effect your overall health long-term.

Very true friend, i agree to your first line. Too much of anything be it chicken or any other food stuffs could act against you. However, keeping a balance on all these things and consuming it in the appropriate quantities could make to consume them for longer periods of time rather than shorter periods.

Sadly chicken is one of the few meats that is yet affordable to most people. I feel consumers don't have alot of choices if they cannot afford to go organic and pay double or more in price. My hubby often talks about why I buy ground turkey (1.49/lb roll vs $3/lb on sale for the fattiest cut of ground beef) and chicken so much. It feels like we don't have many choices in the matter of meats we can afford. Also if you are able to view the documentary called Food Inc. it does reiterate how bad things are in our food chain and how little control consumers have especially if you cannot raise your own food.

I think its safe to eat chicken everyday if they are organic, that they are only feed with natural food like corn.If you are afraid of the hormones, you can grow chickens yourself for your family,s consumption.Just make sure to remove the skin before cooking because it's where most of the fats can be found which can increase your cholesterol level.
