coke addict!

I am addicted to coke, i mean, this is no word of a lie. I have a serious problem. I drink atleast one 500ml bottle a day, through out the course of work, interlinked with cups of coffee! And then i have 2L bottles at home and would have about 4 glasses or 2 pint glasses a night.. Its a serious issue lol! I feel lethargic and moody if i don't have a coke for a few days, and just don't seem to operate as well lol! and everyone says to me ohh it's just the caffine you need, but it isn't .. I could drink any other fizzy drink and I would still be as foul as I was before i drank them! It's just coke.. in actual fact I don't even really like any other fizzy drinks. And don't even TRY to give me diet coke or coke zero, because you will get hurt! And as for like wiskey and coke, or vodka and coke.. no way, do not contaminate my coke, even with alcohol lol! Are there any other coke addicts out there? or am i alone in the world? lol!

I was also a coke addict before, when I was 6 years old. Since my mom unintentionally spoiled me when I was a kid and since I was very upset when I didn't have a coke or any coca cola product on my meal, imagine a 6 years old consuming around 500 to 600 ml of soda every day. For me it feels like heaven every time I drink coke and since it has a lot of sugar and caffeine content, I was very energetic everyday but what we didn't notice back then was slowly it turned my body unhealthy. I was obese back then, got a very unhealthy teeth, my blood sugar is very high, and worst got some problems on my urinary system. Felt pain every time I urinate and got a fluctuating fever, the doctor diagnosed that I have some kidney stones and UTI. They gave me some medication and been on coconut juice diet for 2 years. And now, I tried my best not to drink more than 500ml of soda a week.

wow i'm really sorry to hear that. i must have an amazing metabolism. i never get any side affects of drinking coke. probably because i love fruit and vegetables, and i don't really eat chocolate bars or crisps etc, coke is my one little pleasure :) i have straight white teeth, all in great condition, with nothing wrong with them at all, and i am very slim and fit and healthy.. so i suppose coke doesn't really have an affect on me due the rest of my lifestyle.. i can see how though, depending on other peoples lifestyles, it can affect them :)

wow. thats awful, but as terrible a story as this is, i don't really think you can contribute the whole thing to coke.. there is so much more fat and sugar in other things, other than coke.. and i eat really healthy, except for coke.. so i doubt very much JUST coke could have done that to your friend. it was probably coke mixed with other fats and sugars in her diet and an unhealthy eating pattern. me drinking coke very day would be the same thing as someone eating crisps and chocolate everyday, which i don;t.

I don't see anything lol-ish here. It's sad, just sad. I only drink coke if it's available and if I buy drinks, it's either water or juice.

you don't see anything lol-ish? .. ok. and it's sad? sorry? whats "sad" about really loving something? i think drinking coke is a lot better than eating fatty foods, and crisps and chocolate. juice is LACED with sugar and preservatives and colourants! there are diluted juices on the markets that actually have more sugars and e-numbers than carbonated drinks such as coke... it's not that "sad" surely, i mean, there are far more sadder things in this world than someone being addicted to a drink lol. especially considering i'm a slim, fit, and very healthy young girl?
