Hello Lotters, I don't know what to make up of this, but i feel sad that soldiers even to those who have resign are being part of this so called conspirators plan to bring down the current government. I pity the old man, why does he have to make this charade when we know that such problems takes time to solve. not a ref. link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5zOWrWDIDg For the moment I agree with the former soldiers who committed coup or mutiny against now Cong. Arroyo that this Colonel was being used by different people in the government, those who probably secret Allies of the Arroyo's. But all in all, things had been boring lately, this is going to hit the viewers again. The thing is we have a short supply of men and women in the military therefore there shouldn't be some sort of a mutiny because it could dwindle our forces. Just retire in peace old man, sir. Comment you Later.

Why didn't he say all those things during the past administration if he were really for reforms? He's opening up now that he only has a few days in service, sure sounds and smells fishy to me

Hello louievill, It is fishy from the start, if he wants to air his grievances I think he should have done it in his article and not do this in youtube. it's only been a year, but this proves that some military men are just fooling around with politics. clearly a bad example to the youth and some thing that can really be annoying.

I think a lot of people mislead about this video on youtube. I haven't seen this on video yet. But this was already clarified lately on the interview of Jessica Soho's State of the Nation at GMANews TV with Marine Col. Querubin who is a very close relation with this senior marine. Please. . . . You have to watched and listen carefully to his statement. The senior marine actually did not said about or have not said any of which government he is referring to either President GMA or Pnoy Government. What he is saying is to change the "system of government". This video is an old video, I think prior to the past mutiny of the marines during GMA presidency. This is an affair or academia or forum. The marine just gave his free democratic speech statement on this said military affair. We have to be very careful on watching this video. As I said or what he had said and what Col. Querubin clarified, this is not directly to President Pnoy or GMA administration. He just want to change the system of government.

Howdy yo bro LetranKnight25. According to Col. Querubin, the video was not made lately or which is not accordingly to the date printed on that video. He said this was made during on a military forum or an academia during GMA administration. The recorded video was a speech which was already been said lately on that day, meaning it is only a repeated speech or just to make it recorded on video as requested by some people in that room. For whatever reason who uploaded this video on youtube is really to make the people mislead or confuse. Obviously it is a gravely malicious intentions. As you can see, if ever this senior retired marine is the one who uploaded this video on youtube, all of his retirement benefits will all be gone to smithereens.

Hello Gjabaigar, How can he do that when he just retired? well, if it's just a democratic free speech then there's no harm done. but you can't help thinking that there maybe some plan behind it though. It's not easy to change teh form of government if majority is still derived of money or things like that.

It's best to ignore this colonel. Nobody is listening to him and no body is stirring about his claims except those who suspects that GMA is behind it. But let's give him the benefit of the doubt, he's calling for a replacement of the current administration so my question is whose going to replace Pnoy? is it Binay? Is it Drilon? I think no one among our politicians has expressed any discontent with the way Pnoy is running the government to the extent of having him replaced through a coup. What I suspect is the spin doctors of the previous administration. Who is going to benefit if the people's attention will be diverted from all the controversies involving Zaldie's claims that GMA cheated the elections? that Garci may come out and testify that the election was rigged? that Bidol is more than willing to testify? that the government is digging more and more deeper in the PCSO's expenses? and a lot more... so your guess is as good as mine. Bottom line is, our AFP is not dumb, there could be some if the price is right but in general I think there are still heroes out there who would stand firm and uphold what is right. As for the colonel, I pity him, more so for his family for allowing other people to use him at the expense of his honor. But what is honor by the way? if we can't find honor in some of the bishops, how much more from a man in uniform.

Hello Ybong, It's either another stupid conspiracy or basically a desperate move to destabalize the government. this is something that people shouldn't always fall in because only politicians are benefitting to this kind of trouble. I bet it's either he was threatened or bribe to do this, there is no substance on the things he have said.well, we live in democracy expressing opinion here and there.

The reason why this certain colonel released his grievances to our current government is just to divert the attention of the media into this issue and forget all of the issues that are currently addressed especially those pertaining to our former president ms. GMA. This is obviously a diversionary tactics to transfer the attention of the people and let the old issues die down.

Hello diogzz, Yeah, but people had enough of these military adventurism and it's bad for the economy and for the business enough to drive away future investors.it's indeed diversionary tactics indeed i believe we still have things to get done for some reason I believe that we can all make the difference.

I might not be a fan of P-Noy but I think that the old Colonel, though his intentions are pure and legitimate, is jumping too quickly to conclusions. If he really is a straw man from Arroyo, I think that makes me a disbeliever in the military officers today. It just makes the whole military look bad. Granted, the there is corruption in the honorable institution, solders are always with honor, duty and sacrifice. Most of the soldiers who are serving do not want complications, especially regarding with the chain of command. If I ever have a message to him, It would be encouraging him to stop. We don't have a perfect society or nor a perfect situation but it is not an excuse to cause non-existent and troublesome stirrings in this society.

Hello Jeanne, Yes, It does and really something that most people should have understand from the start that the military isn't supposed to intervene with politics. the dumb colonel doesn't realize that prices of commodities are due to increasing oil prices off the market. There's no change in the government, because the people are the government and people don't ever change. such military adventurism is no longer honoured.
