Then she tell me I wash my hair daily. I shocked when I heard this. Men can do this because their hair is small but for women it is very difficult. If I wash my hair daily then my all hair will fall down and then I will looks like the following picture hahahahonce again laugh my friends on me. hahhah Share your view really is it possible for women daily hair wash? Whats your way one or two times in a week or daily. Which shampoo is best for hair wash to stop the fall down hair.

I do not know if this is cultural difference or maybe because of the environment..but here in the Philippines we always wash our hair and when i say always..it means DAILY lol.. yes daily.. majority is not comfortable if they cannot take a bath even once in a day. I personally, takes a bath twice a day, one in the morning before going to work and before sleeping..and that means daily ritual of giving my hair its treatment of daily shampoo and conditioner. Without it, it would be sticky and hard and hard to manage.. so i need to shampoo and give conditioner daily..and it does not fall off.. i choose the shampoo and conditioner that is mild and is gentle for my hair. see pic for my shampoo!

Hi surekha Sorry for my delayed response, yes I do wash my hair every single day. I do so each day during my shower because if not this long thick hair is very unmanageable. I use a really good shampoo and conditioner which provides the proper nutrients. I towel dry it mostly and then blow dry it after as mine is too long to sleep with it damp. I don't think that shampooing it often will cause it to fall out, or at least I am not aware of this. I also condition it with a special oil treatment one time week also.

I have naturally curly hair and before I tried to wash my hair 3 times a week, and that cause my hair to come out in chunks. I tried to wash my hair every other day, and that seemed better then washing it 3 times a week, not much hair came off. My hair comes off because I guess I dont eat vegetables and eat vitamins (which I should) but I tend to forget

Did you know that, until the 1950s, almost no one washed their hair every day? It's only a result of successful shampoo marketing that most of the western world believes they should wash it every day! Shampoo is actually very bad for your hair. That goes for ANY shampoo. It's far better for your hair to wash it 1-3 times a week. The thing is that most people live in areas with bad pollution (cities, etc.) so hair gets really disgusting if you don't wash it every day - which is why most people do. I remember when I lived in London (and when I was in Paris) and had long hair, it was filthy by the end of the day, every day. Yuck! We've also been conditioned (excuse the pun) to think that just-washed, shiny hair is the only acceptable kind, so daily washing is enforced by social norms.

I am a man and i do wash my hair daily. I like it that way. I dont like to have my hair oily. In any case i know it is difficult to wash long hair. I know man with long hair who do not wash their hair daily. More like three times a week. So i think that should be just about enough. And i dont think washing hair daily would have to lead to hair loss.

Well friend it is possible but it is not at all good.. if you love your hair you should never put such things into practice and should take great care of your hair...I see many of the young girls doing this... they only apply oil if they have to wash their hair the next day other wise they do not... well i do not like such people who are too much concerned about styles and looks...

Hmmm I agree with you I also not like such people those are more interested in their looks and styles. You are right girls are using oil for their hair if they want to wash next day otherwise not. I think this is the main reason of falling and white hair. thanks for sharing nice view.

I wash my hair every time, unless I am rushing. When I am rushing, I don't wash my hair. Again as some one has said, find one with vitimin e in it. I looked for one for split ends and in the the one I found had vitimin e and b. Since my hair has been shining and soft. But my problem is that I need anti dandruff shampoo too. So I will have to change my shampoo every now and then. But here is a little tip for those who read this and know of people or children suffering head lice. Use anti dandruff shampoo for at least a month. And if they need to control head lice, Keep using it. I had find something because head lice treatment didn't work. I was suffering dandruff and also got head lice from my daughter who was getting them from school. I changed my shampoo and 2 to 3 weeks after, I found that I had no head lice. I told my whole family to use it, and now we all don't have head lice. I used it for many months after. My family had been free from head lice for over 6 months now. I am celebrating. But really to find out the best shampoo for you, try different ones. Give it at least 2 to 3 weeks before making a final decission on the shampoo. But daily hair washing is ok for your hair with the right shampoo.

It is not impossible thing to wash hair everyday. Although it require some time. Don't use shampoo everyday, it is harmful for hairs. Consult with skin specialist for your hair fall problem.

I wash my hair 3-4 times a week but a lot of my friends prefer washing their hair every day as they think this is more hygenic. However, I have quite a lot of hair and it takes ages to dry naturally after washing. It takes more than 20 minutes to dry even if I use the hair dryer. I do not sweat a lot. Therefore, I do not wash my hair as often as my friends.

That sounds pretty scary. I wash my hair every day because at the moment for me was quite warm and I can not sleep at night without taking a shower. But when it's cold I wash my hair every two days. For shampoo I can not tell you because every time I use different. The market has so many brands so it's nice to change your shampoo every month I buy different. Have a nice day!

Yes,my Indian sister chechi Ajitha told me that usually in India women wash their hairs twice in a week. But here in our country dear,we wash our hair everyday. During summer,I take a bath 3-4 times a day and I wash my hair each time i took a bath. My daughter's hair is very long,it's just inches away from the floor and she washes her hair daily and same when it is summer, she took a bath 3-4 times and washes her hair as well. And her hair is still thick enough... I will attach my daughter's hair photo

Hello dear. I couldn't believe that you are not washing your hair on a daily basis. No pun intended but I believe we should wash our hair every day. You know that our hair is also a skin only it is in modified form and like the skin in our body it is also susceptible to all the dirt it is accumulating everyday. Can you imagine yourself not taking a bath especially on a hot weather. Whew! or maybe, it is just me because I am living in a tropical country which is the Philippines. But, yes, I wash my hair every day (I got a long hair). sometimes as often as I take a bath on a day. I shampoo and put conditioner on it. The shampoo varies. But I prefer those that are for grizzy and dry hair. I used conditioner every other day or thrice a week. I also got a dose of falling hair every day but only minimal since it is just normal unless you are having hairfalls of more than a hundred strands a day. Trust me, the more you clean your hair and use the proper comb or brush, it will make your hair look a lot better.

surekharathi, maybe it is something really cultural..or just a difference in lifestyle.. as far as what i have understood, you do not wash your hair my friend that often because you have so many things going on?like household stuff? but even here in Philippines, there are soooo many things needed to get done, from cooking, to cleaning rooms, to washing dishes, laundry even by hand..we still get to wash our hair daily! lol it has been part of our daily ritual, its like incomplete without it The only time i do not get to wash my hair is when i am sick and feverish. Just manage time and see the difference.

Thanks for suggestion my friend I will try but really for Indian women it is not possible because servant problems is also here so whole house work is doing by hand. Washing cloth, cleaning stain sell steel, cleaning rooms etc. Two times cooking, teaching etc. So we have no time for this. But I will try not daily at least 3 to 4 times in week because my hair is very much falling down.

Its a matter of time management my friend. Even many people doing a lot of works but still they have time to wash their hair everyday. I think because your not used to it and its hard to change your daily task. You know I have friends in Qatar before they are Nepali, they transferred in our room and we are mostly Filipino on that room. Their first week in our room we notice that they are not washing their hair or even taking a bath everyday. But on the second week, I think they see us or they notice also that all of us (Filipino) are taking a bath and washing our hair everyday and so they adopt it. Now they are like Filipino already.:) It is really possible if you really want it.

I do not was my hair more than it is necessary. I regularly wash my hair once a week. It can happen it will be twice a week depending on what I'm doing. When I was a work mechanic I washed my hair every day, because of the oil and dirt in a the atmosphere and environment of the workshop and the sweeating work. But I had to bring nutritional essence of vitamines of group B is in my hair otherwise it got dried and some of it fell off. I believe you should wash your hair more than neccesary. The body itself is trying to keep the balance of all important vitamines and minerals in our being.

There is something missing in your food, when you are losing hair more than it is normal. How about to take some B 5 vitamin pills. All b-vitamines and A vitamines are important for skin, hair and nails. I can warmly recommend algae pills which I take daily. The algae latin name - Ascophyllum nodosum Fucus vesiculosus & Spirulina. It is from the sea. I take one pill for each 20 lbs of my weight. The algae contains over 200 important minerals and essences as a complement for a nutritional healthy life.

Hi, if I'm not mistaken you are Indian, Nepali, Sri Lankan or maybe Pakistan. Actually, its very possible to wash your hair everyday. Usually, here in Philippines we wash our hair everyday, or sometimes 2x a day specially when we went out for the whole day. If you are afraid of falling hair, you can put shampoo at least every other day but still you need to wash your hair everyday. It doesn't make your hair fall, there's so many kind of shampoo that anti-hair fall. Here in our country if you will tell that you wash your hair 2 or 3 times a week they will laugh at you. Because it means that your not hygienic. I am sorry but I hope my comment will not offend you.

My hair is pretty long and i still wash it daily. It's alright to lose some hair when you wash it. You probably lose so much hair when you wash because you only wash it once or twice a week. You lose hundreds of hairs each day and you have probably already lost them and they are just sitting in the rest of your attached hairs until you wash it. I think that if you started washing your hair daily you would notice that you lose much less hair that way, when really you losing the same amount. This is just a thought.

That's right,we are lost around 50 to 100 hairs everyday and it's just normal.New hair will grow to replace the old ones at almost the same rate, unless you have health conditions or treatments that leads to hair loss.
