ok so here's a bit of a random one. i love mint chocolate. mint chocolate club buscuits. mint aeros. after eights. mint chocolate vicounts. mint choc chip ice-cream. etc etc etc.. i just adore it, and the chocolate and the mint go so well together. but here's my question. if mint and chocolate go so well together, how come it tastes so rank when you eat something chocolate after brushing your teeth? :)

Maybe it is the way to make you not eat for a while after brushing your teeth? I do agree that mint and chocolate are possibly the best combination of foods in all time.

I think it's the other ingredients in the toothpaste that makes it so nasty eating anything right after brushing your teeth. I think one ingredient is the baking soda as it's a bland taste. Have you ever brushed your teeth with just baking soda? It's a good thing to do but not the best taste in the world. In any case, the other ingredients is what makes it taste bad, plus the mint is artificial, or processed in toothpaste.

oh yes that never occured to me! the mint is artificial!! so it tastes like mint but wont have the same make up as mint, making it taste horrible when mixed with chocolate.. that's a really good point! i actually hadn't even thought of that!
