Does anybody know what song is it?

Hi people! I badly need your help in identifying a song. I've heard it couple of times on the radio long time ago and now I heard it again. I decided to find out, what song is it, but I wasn't able to do this using different search engines and lyrics finder pages.
So, to the point.
The song is being sung by a female singer. The genre is somewhat alternative rock/ pop rock. It's a light song, no heavy guitar there. I think I've also heard keyboards at some point. I remember some words from the chorus, it goes "I am a light...I-I...I am a space..." or something like this. Note that there are some more words in between these lines, but I can't recall them.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I can only guess that this song may be 2000+, but it shouldn't be newer than 2007-2008 I think. I am not sure how helpful is that...

Yes, it helps knowing about what decade it came out..I have assignments due and an exam tomorrow, so I may not get back to this for a while, but when I am done, I'll check into it for you, if you haven't found it by then..

Try to put a pen and paper next to your radio. If ever that song will be played again try to listen to it attentively and write the first line of the song or the chorus. Then search if on the internet, writing the first sentence of the song will be search on the net already. Hope this would help you. Have a nice day!

You never know Biome, if you listen to a radio station that plays that genre, you might hear it..I know there was a rock song I wanted to know the title and artist so bad, but couldn't find it and one time I heard it and they either gave the title or artist, (not both for some reason) but with that info I was able to search for the song itself and now I have it saved on my youtube account..

Well you're right, we never know. Perhaps they will put it on air one day soon. I am usually not a big radio listener, but I think I will turn it on more often as a musical background. Perhaps I will succeed! Thanks for your help ;)

Thanks for a good suggestion! However, I don't think it would work in my case, cause I hear this song very rarely on the radio. The last time I heard it might have been a year ago. But anyway, I will keep my ears sharp so next time I'll hear that song, I will try to write down as much as I can. Thanks for help!
