Even when brought up in different families, identical twins often show remarkable resemblances. And many resemblances almost surely demonstrate the power of heredity. They may have the same psychological difficulties, and often prove alike in artistic or athletic aspects. In a study of identical twins separated at birth, each of one separated-twin pair had won a boxing championship. In another pair, both were singers, and had played the same kinds of theatrical roles.
