In addition to programs like the Tuning CCleaner or TuneUp Utilities 2008, the interest of clearing up, you should also remember to install programs against pests: As a minimum equipment includes anti-virus and anti-spyware program. If anything like this not on the hard disk, you should install catch up soon! As an anti-virus you could then Take "AntiVir", and as a software against spyware programs "AVG Anti-Spyware". Both are free and works very reliably. On a firewall you can, if you have a router that actually refrain entirely. If you do not have, just use the Windows Firewall -which is ample for the normal user, not overloaded with incomprehensible messages. To keep your programs up to date, which also contributes to good condition, enable, if possible, automatic updates, not just in Windows itself, but at each installed program. As an aid to updating your software particularly useful when some programs are not even able, to bring up to date you could "UpdateStar" use. UpdateStar analyzed whether improvements are available for the installed programs and download sites on calls to the latest versions.

@ Kendedes2011: Oh yes, I use a local antivirus, I like it because it is lightweight, I guess I should start thinking to change the antivirus. For business update from some software that I have, indeed I felt a little lazy. But I have to enforce it. @ SpikeTheLobster: Wow, nice, thanks Spike, I will try some. @ charlesting: Ow ...., thank you friend, I am pleased with your recommendation of additional software.

First and foremost after the installation of your OS and System Drivers is finished you should opt out *Antivirus program: I would suggest Avast as it is Fast, reliable, and mostly its FREE! It does most of the system protecting work most efficiently. For Full procedure of Avast Antivirus Installation and Key Go to ( www.santhuqr.blogspot.com ) *After that get a system Clean-Up software: Windows Webroot washer this not only cleans up the computer of all the cookies from IE(Internet Explorer)but also has an option of shredding(Deleting the files permanently from HDD) *After this you check your Firewall settings and antivirus settings, and set them in a kind that suits your requirement Keep formatting your computer once a month so that if there are any traces of Malfunctioning programs they get flushed out. Lastly if you have a Net be sure to Update the necessary softwares.

Look for time in computer image, which always have good programs! I personally use Ashampoo WinOptimizer and including Burning Studio 2008 / Ccleaner. When I use drawing program Paint. Net and as a media program KMPlayer, because of the good picture and sound quality! (and because of the extras you do not need to install a plug in!)

Ok, I've tried this program some time ago, but all disappeared after the first hardisk drive is damaged.
