Transfer contacts? / myLot

I was thinking of buying the HTC Desire S but was wondering how I would be able to transfer all my phones from my Nokia N96? I have too many contacts to do it manually. Does anyone here know a way to do so? I've searched in google but have not been able to find something useful to someone technologically challenged like.

Hi there, Does your phone have back up assistant? If so you can transfer that way. If not can your cell phone provider do the automatic transfer for you. Verizon and some others here do and free of charge. You just walk into one of their stores and they do it within minutes.

I was just about to call my provider for this, since they are the ones offering me the phone for a retention program. A friend of mine got the phone, I guess I should ask her if it is possible to do so or not. I do hope she did not do it manually! This is really the part I hat about changing phone brands! Too bad Nokia has lost its hold on the smartphone market.

Pretty easy. Just transfer all your contacts from phone to PC using the PC companion. Then transfer it to your new phone.
