Last Thursday me and my friends going to fish market when all of us put our attention and read the quote (as mentioned in the title) at the back of one Toyota (Furtuner). Our mind starting to analyze the reality of the message want to convey not for me but for all of us. All of them inside the car gave own opinion about the quote. How about you? What are your opinion? Do you believe the message on it? Or what messages you analyze from that quote which important in our life? What are your experience related to this quote? Share to us..

Well, as a gamer, this quote is often applied in the virtual world but the funny thing is, it's quite the opposite. For example, I wanted to challenge a high level and strong player into a battle, I myself has nothing to lose being the underdog of that match but it depends on the other player whether he would allow me to challenge him in spite of having an obvious advantage over me. Probably the brave ones would fight me but the ones who are too scared to lose against a newbie who's an underdog would probably won't fight me. So, in the gaming and sports sense, there would be pros and cons if someone challenges or accepts a challenge from a competitor who has nothing to lose. Just like in boxing as well :), imagine Manny Pacquiao accepting a challenge from an unknown fighter :), that fighter has nothing to lose but all to gain.

Hmmm good ideas and may be your good in online gaming. Back to the issue as you mentioned your the one in the side of "nothing to lose", how about your in the side of challeging somebody - how do you determine the opponent is good and once you win he/she lose more than you expected. And how you determine the opponent is like nothing to lose style? Did you experience that?

Well the most important thing of course is to observe and to know your enemy or rival. Like in the case of a sport, you should observe first the strengths and weaknesses of the other player before you challenge him/her. Also, I think whenever you decide to challenge someone, be sure you are prepared if not it's like going to a war without a weapon. You ask how to determine if your opponent has nothing to lose, well basically if you never met your opponent and have no idea about him/her, therefore it would be just a matter of self-confidence I think. Example, if you think that you are a very good swimmer then someone challenges you to a swimming race, you might just accept the challenge without knowing whether that opponent is good or not.

Maybe it's because if you challenge a person that has nothing to lose, he's ready to give it all despite the consequences. If a person has nothing to lose, he is not afraid to fail. That's how I understand this quote.

It's actually easy. If the person has nothing to lose, that means he has no one he cares about. No family, relatives, friends, nothing.

Ah ok because it is common ways around us that if the person had made a cruel act of killing the background of the person definitely big factor right... good idea

Do you have any idea how to determine a person whose thinking like that nothing lose? Because for me it is very difficult to determine a person like that. so that we can escape or avoid any bad situation...

My opinion is...the person who has nothing lose is willing to die if provoked. The person wants to convey that,he/she is not afraid to die because even his/her life doesn't mean anything. That he/she is willing to die at any cost...in short "patapon" - useless. That's my opinion... have a great day my friend

For me, It mean's they're afraid to loose or doesn't care if they lose..some people have everything and yet they are afraid to lose. Mayweather doesn't have this because he's afraid to have his own zero loss record. Yes, I believe in this quote.

Hi visavis First thing, I dont believe that there is any person who doesnt have anything to lose. If there is one, s/he is a lunatic and doesnt belong to this normal world. Going by this, it would be unwise to challenge such a lunatic. These people need caring and not challenges. ps. a few years back in 2008 I too was thinking the same way... but then life changed for good and today I have at least one person whom I cannot afford to lose and also many more things have come in - so I say that people who think have nothing to lose, should wait to get things changed for good.

May be if the person action is like that "nothing to lose" there is own reason why she/he do that. Like in various movies that when the lead actress/actor something happened to their families or related they make a action of do or die. They forget whatever consequenses can be happened? Meaning no other choices other than to face back.

I have seen a movie quite a while ago and if I am not mistaken, I think that was one of Harrison Ford's. He said that he has got nothing to loose. That was because he already had nothing and that he was ready to either kill or be killed. And this could also signify that anyone who seem to have nothing to live for, even his own life would be unimportant when someone challenges him.

Meaning everyone of us can even do it same action and thinking in a certain situation. Specially when our life is in danger and nothing left for us is to fight back right?

In a conflict situation, when faced between the devil and the deep blue sea, which is the greater evil? When a person has nothing to lose, he will fight with his might. He can't lose anyway. Which is why in the 36 strategems (????), one of them is to never force them to a corner. If you do, he has nothing to do but fight back. What's there to lose anyway. I chanced across another saying which you might want to consider discussing: "War is not about who is right, but who is left." What do you think of this quote then? Anyway, what's there in the world to challenge? We can say all we want, but earthly teachings are always in opposite direction to Christ's teaching- to turn the other cheek, to love your enemies. It should be clear which is better teaching. To fight for the present or to hope for the eternal future? I know your choice and mine is clear.

those are the persons who can do everything no matter what the price. they don't count any costs and if dying asked them, sure, they'll bear their cross with just them, it could be nothing, it could be with their honor, it could be with their pride, and what not? we don't know. that is why never challenge one if we know they have nothing to lose!

So no way for you to challenge them. But what if no choice is to challenge them are you ready to face them? Are you try to face them and same thinking of nothing to lose to you?

From life point of view yes, it may be a good advice if you have something to lose. But if you don't have anything to lose yourself then it doesn't matter how you'll proceed. Sometimes people who don't have anything to lose may bring you some troubles just because they don't care. But again if you also don't have anything to lose then you may reply back and whatever happens :).

If you face off such person can we say also nothing to lose from our side? Because I think in our life now everywhere you seen a bad situation, various characters of person you may encounter, may one of them is like that person..
