India is surely missing Virendra Sehwag, isn't it?

Virendra Sehwag is missing in the Indian line-up. With the First Test match poised in the manner it is, the final day would have been a revelation if there had been a certain Mr. Virendra Sehwag. India need 378 runs on the final day. Chances are, they will try to draw the Test Match. Had Sehwag been there, a quickfire 50 or 70 by him would have brought the target within reach in double quick time. What Sehwag does is unique. He scores really quick making the required run-rate achievable. He also demoralizes the opposition by hammering good balls to the fence. Remember, if he fails, there is always the possibility of India playing for a draw. Sorry, that he is not playing. Hope he returns to the squad as soon as possible.

For sure the Indian team is missing Virendra Sehwag at the top of the order and will be hoping for a quick return for him. Sehwag makes a big difference at the top of the order and can take the game away from an opposution. He scores quickly and also puts a lot of question marks in the bolwers heads and that makes them feel the pressure. With India already down 1 nil in teh first test they will be looking to comeback in the series. But will the absence of Sehwag, may be even Zaheer, they look at themselves with two very important players with fitness problems. Will they be able to win without them. A lot of questions will be in front of Dhoni and coach Fletcher..

These are key players who can really turn the game in India's favour. All Indians hope that they make a speedy recovery. This is a key tournament. Especially Sehwag's abscence can be felt at the top of the order. A.Mukund in good but not even close to Sehwag at his punishing best.

it is true. If Sehwag had been there it would have been easy for India. Now let us see what happens. I also expect the match to be moving towards a draw.

Yeah, I am waiting too. At the moment, Dravid and Laxman seem to be India's best bet to draw the game. But the first coule of hours on the final day will be crucial.
