feeling bad

I don't know if this topic belongs to this interest. This is about my sister who has just completed her eight (8) chemotherapy sessions for her breast cancer. She is a public school teacher here in our place. Due to advices, she has decided to apply for retirement comes December 31, 2011. She informed her lady principal about it however the principal told her that December 31, 2011 is too far so said principal directed her to apply effective September 2011. Knowing this, I feel bad against her principal, she is an inconsiderate woman. For just a few months she won't allow my sister to work.
