Party is over

I went out this weekend with friends from work. We celebrated the 40th birthday of a colleague. We went Dampa in Diosdado Macapagal wherein you can go to the market and choose what seafoods or viand you like and they will cook it for you. After dinner, five of us where planning to go somewhere else. Either watch a band, go over to a bar and party or just sit on a coffee shop. Well I am not used to staying out late unlike before. But they don't believe me. I did not even grab a bottle of beer because of my condition which I will tell on another discussion. Maybe I was tired of partying and drinking. Or rather I am really getting old that's why I don't enjoy those stuff anymore. Is the party really over for me?

hi sunnystarfish! yeah, go ahead and do that. you might want to change it a bit and go to a different venue or perhaps hang out with a different set of friends. just change it up a bit and who knows, you might be enjoy partying again. cheers!!!

About three years ago, i almost went out every night with my friends and colleagues. And that was when i was 30! Then after that i just started getting tired and i do go out once in awhile. However, for a year now i haven't gone out with any of my friends. I guess it's because of my schedule and my son is already in grade school which means i have to pay more attention to his education. If I have a free time i would love to go out but not to get drunk like i used to. You're not getting old sunny and the party's not over yet! YOu're just taking a break from it all like what i'm doing now!

Almost the same. When i was in college i go out twice a week. One on a Tuesday night since Wednesday is no class in our university unless it's exam day and of course Friday.

Well maybe I started going out really early. When I was in college, I usually go out every week. It got worst when I got my first job cause I have my own money already and asking permission to my parents is not a problem anymore. But it's nice to go out sometime with friends to catch up on life and relieve stress too.

Yes I agree with you. Maybe I'm just being mature nowadays. Being concerned of my health and saving up for my future. Or rather invest my money on other things. Cause going out requires a lot of money. It's quite expensive.

Ola Sunny, maybe you were just not in the mood to party, or could be have been the energy of the day that was low. Lots of factors can affect us,... or you are really getting old. heheheh... but hey I can't speak too much because I'm a couple of years older than you!!! see ya

Maybe. Or maybe our priorities change over time. I think I like it better if we will just have dinner or talk over coffee. And I also love to travel instead of partying all night long. Let's just say it's not getting old but it's maturity haha.
