The only way to learn money's worth is to not have. I believe that people who know and experienced the lack of money and struggles of fitting a little amount for a big expense, are the ones who know how to use money best. I did experienced struggling for money, and I think it made me know better how and when and where to use money. Now that I am married, I can say that I have a stable life in terms of financial matters. But up until now, I still have the same thought about money's worth. Even if I want something so much, I will not buy until its on sale or I will not buy at all. Sometimes my husband tells me I dont have to be that thrifty, but its my thing and I dont want to change that. It is something I also want to pass on to my children one day. They will be lucky to have a father like my husband and I dont want them to grow up spoiled kids, like me, I want them know that money is not picked on the street by their father. It is a product of hard work and should be used wisely. Do you believe that people who experience being poor give more importance to money's worth?

money is very important to us without money we cant provide our needs for survival...money also can give you things that you want in your life...money can provide you everything..you will enjoy life if you have the money..and that is the worth of money.

money has important value in our lives. no matter how we downplay and dismiss its role in our daily lives, it is indeed important. i like your point on the people who know the real value of money. i must agree that it is those who experienced financial difficulties or the lack of money in certain sense. i appreciate your openness regarding your disposition towards money. in my case, i am trying to reach that stability when it comes to finances.

Being poor before is not something I have to be ashamed of. Right now, we are stable already and its good to share with people that we started from the bottom... used the stairs and then reached the top. This trait also makes my husband love me more everyday. I agree with your point too, we dismiss money's role but it is very important.

Hai mylotter, it seems to me that money has no role in making us sad and happy but i though it is our mind. Although it is difficult to lead the life without money in this world, it can possible. Actually money plays a neutral role which either not forcing you to buy something or keep it in your purse but it has the potential to push you into happiness and sad. Really if there is no money there is no thought of using it and get trapped into emotional. And the worth of money differ from individual to individual for example one who struggle for his one time meal and the rich one having lost his mony in the share market.
