In my almost 10 years of working, I have experience being employed by a company and working homebased. I am not afraid to leave a job if I am not enjoying it anymore. I think I am not patient enough to endure. I have work as a school teacher and also a medical transcriptionist. Now I work at home through writing jobs I get from the internet. I always have some minor problems with people in the workplace so I found homebased job less stressful. Sometimes I get bored with working at home.I don't know which you think is better in the long run, working homebased or have corporate employment?

Hi averygirl! I am actually looking for a home-based job. We'll not particularly as a full-time job but some kind of extra work I could do and earn. I like working at the convenient of our homes but I also enjoy working with different kinds of people because I learn from them and the experience I get is incomparable. Home-based jobs are fine also because you are your own boss but there are times you'll find it boring. Corporate jobs also offer benefits and incentives while home-based do not. Maybe you can continue with your corporate job while having a home-based work. As I've said that I'm looking for home-based jobs, can you recommend some of those and where I can find those kinds of jobs? If that would just be okay with you. Have a nice day!

I took me a long while before I found a job. I just register in online jobs ph and easyoutsource and I was lucky to found a client who needs an article writer.

I've checked the sites and they're really wonderful. There are different kind of jobs to be found depending on what skills you have. I just really hope I'd be employed here even just as a part-time.

Before working in the real world, I already got depression stage where I can't concentrate in my studies. When I got out it is even worse. I now even have hypertension. Like you said every office must have a minor problem. And working homebased it avoids those problems. But as long as you are making enough money, there should be no problem working at home although you are alone, right?

I experienced working in different industries when I was single and I enjoyed each and everyone of it. Now I am working at home and since I am married already, it is easier for me to work at home. WOrking in a corporate industry is something I loved too, it opens our chance of earning our own career, but I want to concentrate myself on being a wife right now so working at home is fine for me.

Home based work can never be compared to any corporate job but that is only if you have option to work in great well known corporations or companies. They give you all facilities and pay for your abilities..But since recession time its not easy for everyone to get nice job. Many people are working like donkeys and not getting the payment they deserve.Every employer is exploiting them. So for such people its better to increase their skill and learn to earn from home full time or as part time job. There is no need to get exploited like animals by greedy employers. Its more difficult for females..their exploitation may be worst if people around in work place are not nice...so Internet rocks.site like mylot as well.

i think what you need to find out first is what are you good at doing at? like any special skills or do you have a certain passion. then when, you find it out, that would be the time that you would decide what type of job are you going to choose. because i think all your decision making and shifting from one job to another are useless if you don't have a certain goal or target or work that you really want to do.

If you have specific skills, you can certainly find quite a few niche jobs. However, for those in North America, a lot of the work online is not enough to live on. Many "micro" jobs pay pennies or a dollar an hour. I cannot live on that here in Canada. I had to go back to a traditional job, and its working out well for me. If you can make a living from home, that's great! I would love to as well, if it were practical. Welcome to mylot, by the way.

For me it is better to make a business that is salable but if you want to be home based it is good but if you don't have an attitude of not boring immediately.

Hi averygirl! There are always problems in the workplace if you work in an office, but if it just minor problems then maybe you can try to have a longer tolerance of those annoying co-workers. Try to get along with them. Well, home based job is very flexible in time, you don't have to get up early, ride the bus and walk to your office, in short there no pressure in time. Very comfortable and no one can interrupt you when you are working. Problem is that, it can decease your social interaction, no can talk to no one. So, I think boredom will rule over you in the long run...
