Do you think this is a game or poll type of question?

I posted a thread about me receiving a reward from using the search box of myLot. It was the first time I got such a reward and I probably got overwhelmed that I wanted to know if anybody here in myLot community experienced the same thing. It was a topic I posted wherein I got the highest respond here since I join myLot...and that posted discussion stayed on for a month, maybe plus a week. Now I just got a notice from myLot Admin today saying that they deleted the topic now because of guideline violation like it was a game or a poll type of question. well?? seriously after 1 month?!? If it's a violation then so be it... they created the guidelines, not me... However, this was the question I posted: Have you ever received a reward from myLot? If so, what's the highest amount have you received? maybe I was just too naive but I was indeed curios as well to ask it... my question now is -- Do you think the above question was a game or poll type of question? it would be good that I would be enlighten about this matter but then myLot will probably think that this new thread of mine is another game or poll type of question that they will probably delete this again before you could respond. golly-wow!

I understand how you feel. It does however sound like a poll type question. I think if you asked is it fair for this type of topic should be deleted, I think mostly everyone would say no. But there are guidelines to follow. They may seem strict but once you get used to posting here, you will be okay. Next time, just make it more like a statement.

hi smashville why not just read the gu ideline and learn the rules of discussion poll means asking questions of everyone out there and it leaves nothing to discuss as that type of question can be answered yes or no so y es it was a poll discussion , if you read the rules on discussions you would see that they want us to discuss not answer simple questions this is not a question and answer forum it is a discussion forum. let get more c omplicated in our posts to avoid being deleted.
