All pep talk? how about some action?

it is a fact that politicians or leaders have to undergo a "wooing" process, to get the trust and respect of the people. they have to talk, and i mean, literally talk their way to our hearts. these talks would entail sweet promises that, undeniably, lured most of us into writing their name on the sheets, making them winners. but did they ever lived up to those promises? or are they justifying the popular quote that, "PROMISES ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN"? ouch. lets's shed some light on this one. do you know anyone powerful who haven't lived up for his words to the people? it's either we protect or destroy our politician on this one... anyone you know?
