what is your life's greatest regret and why is it so

I have many regrets, but the biggest one that I have to live with is not spending more time with my Mom. Even when she came to visit me I never seemed to make any time for her. Sadly my Mom passed away in Sept. of 2009, so now all I have left is the regret of not spending more time with her when I still had the chance.

I have the same sad story to tell.I won't be able able forgive myself for the moments i neglected my mom.She used to visit the family but i was always busy and had not given the time for her.She just passed away last month 19th June 2011.Its very painful..what a wretched me...

oh.. so sad.. sorry for both of you. yeah it's always..for better job and earning we go away for sometimes for study we have to move from our home.. and it makes gap between us and our family.. though we got lots of good friends but we can never come closer to our family.. :( a

I always try to live without regrets.. even though I have a lot lol,well just because I think if I didnt do those things before I will not be in my situation now... and I like where I am now.. even though I am away with my family... :( thats the only sad part...
I guess the biggest regret that is always popping in my mind is marrying my husband..ahaha I think of this whenever I am angry only... (dont get me wrong I love him so much) its just that when your angry you swear things you dont mean :)

mine is having to get married not that young but with my status in life.
i mean, if i will be getting married for the first time, i will make it sure that i am ready, financially, economically. i found it difficult to raise a family too with more children when you are not financially stable.

My life's greatest regret is dating only one person in high school and then marrying him. He was not a good person and I never should have stayed with him. It was my low self-esteem that made me feel like I could never be loved by someone else. He used and abused me for 13 years. I should have left him right away. I am happy to be divorced and away from him now.

I do have regrets in life, but i can't say which is my greatest regret just yet. What seems to be a regret now, might turn out otherwise in later stages of my life. I don't want to jump to conclusions that fast. I believe in everything happens for a reason, and the reason is to make us a better, stronger person, or to avoid some kind of misfortune coming our way.
