I knew this would happen. Amy Winehouse was cremated only a few hours ago and already there is "talk" of a Foundation in her name. Why? What's this about exactly? No doubt it will be her father's idea. LET HER BE! I don't know the full details of this "Foundation" as I've just heard it mentioned on Sky News. Personally, I think Amy should be remembered for her music. That will live on like it should. Why a "Foundation" is even being talked about amazes me..but I'm not altogether surprised, to be honest.

I don't like to really talk about it. I wasn't up on the news about her and even if I was, no one truly knows what she went through, just like no one truly knows what any of the stars that have passed have gone through. Maybe the foundation is a way for people to remember her, maybe it's a publicity stunt from her father or family or whoever is starting it. Who is to say? I agree though, better to just let her be.

I can't help feeling that it's a way of keeping her in the media and I don't agree with it at all.

I like Amy a lot as a musician and i want to remember her as a very good artist. Don't have any idea why her dad would want to put up a foundation for Amy but if it's for a good cause then that would be great.

I suppose it depends on what the cause is. If it lines her Dad's pockets I won't be impressed.

I don't know who Amy Winehouse is,out of curiosity,I search her on network. She was an English singer-songwriter who was known for her powerful contralto vocals. What a pity! She was just 28,She passed away in the prime of life.As to the foundation in her name,I can't make improper comments. However I have heard of this type of thing where people " hung up a sheep's head and sold dog meat."

She was 27 actually but I'm being picky, at least you researched the good lady and I'm pleased you did.
